Regular zombie to Clicker - GeoTracker for After Effects tutorial inspired by The Last of Us

  • In this video inspired by The Last of Us HBO series, we turn a traditional-looking zombie from random footage into an infected human - Clicker. We uncover each step from tracking the character’s head in After Effects using GeoTracker and importing a Clicker 3D model via Cinema 4D to adding light sources and basic colour grading in order to integrate this CG element realistically into the footage.     that was an awesome tutorial, am doing a shot film which will require the use of the geo tracker a lot, hopefully you see it when its done

    Just wondering is it possible to track from geo track the object if it's in action like hands fingers closing open and legs moving

    Can GeoTracker for AE track deformable objects or is that just for the Nuke version?

      Hi! Unfortunately, the AE version doesn't support tracking of deformable objects at the moment.

    Is it possible to export to Blender like it was done in Cinema 4D?

      Hi! Yes, there's a way to integrate it with Blender. Currently, we don't offer a direct option, but you can still export tracking results to Cinema 4D Lite first. And then, you will be able to export them from C4D Lite in the FBX format, for example, and use this file in Blender.
      We're also working on a GeoTracker add-on for Blender and hope to release it soon!

    I cannot download Facebuilder Core Library for Blender, it's said Bad Gateway 502, so what's should I do, I can't use Facebuilder without it.
    Could you please solve that problem?

    my object tracking looking good in AE but when i get that all into C4D i do not see matching in all frames. I have checked the frame rate also, they are all good. why it is not matching in C4D ?

      Hey! There might be an issue if your animation doesn't start at the zero frame. It happens due to a bug in the After Effects export. We can suggest two workarounds if it's the case:
      1. Export the scene with the zero start frame, and the animation will be transferred correctly.
      2. If you have an offset and want to save it, please export the nulls with the unchecked 'Link' option. Once the nulls are imported to Cinema 4D, you can find the animation at zero frame and manually move the keyframes to the needed frame range.
