Not really, she is pretty good. Even though her banner wasn't tht great if I remember right. Which I mean, she isn't the most likable character so makes sense
All new sets are incredible, the Penacony set makes Vonwacq outdated and glamoth does the same for space station, and the rest are a must for the DoT dealers and follow-up attacks. You can even use the prisoner set on other characters as long as there are characters on the team that inflict DoT on enemies. Farming all those sets again will be a pain in the ass but at least we can kill time that way until theyfinaly release the new chapter of the story.
At least there is something to work towards XD But it does pain me to see some perfect relics that comes only once in awhile roll fully into defense% 😭
Was farming FUP set for topass, and got a crit body with crit subs atk and break effect, i thought i got gold. Then i went to level it up and it got 18% def and 11break effect 😢

I think you can get better damage by adding Pela with Resolution LC instead of Asta or 3rd DoT character. Def Shred is really crack in DoT team especially combined with DEF Ignore from the new set.
New 4-PC sets are good but not worth farming if you still have more important things to farm like Ascend or level up materials for other characters. *ASSUMING* both your old set and new one have the same stats the damage increase can be as little as 2% up to, best case scenario, 8%. So yeah, be smart about it people.
Had around 20 of that item that resplenishes energy... Spent it all and still couldn't finish a good set of relics. It was good for ATK but lack os SPD didn't work for my Kafka yet. I was fine running her with 136 SPD and using SPD pieces on other DoT characters so they can go first, but I don't think I may change their relics, only for Kafka.
I'm just happy that my fully built Welt makes the new relic domain easy, compared to when I tried to farm physical relics with a level 70 sushang and would get wrecked half the time.
I used 56 fuels on the new cavern and got a full set for Kafka with a lot of pieces left over while my topaz don't even got half of her relics with good crit values I have to say dot is soooo much easier to build just need speed and atk and done
Can you put the set that gives +12% spd to allies on someone to get full uptime of the 18% dmg buff (160+ spd)? Nice breakdown, I'm really looking forward to only being able to acquire a handful of relics a day for 2 months in order to find something useable 😅
160 speed on the glamoth set is definitely going to be better in the sense where you'd take much more actions that the attack boot build! Kafka does exceedingly better with more turns since she has more chance to activate her follow-up + more skills + more ult usage :D But if you're just going for damage per screenshot, you can reach higher damage with attack boot of course, but it will usually be slower in clearing stages since you simply take less turns.

mr youtuber. im still trying to understand planar ornaments. if a character off field has (for example) 134 speed outside of battle, but, when given buffs, can reach the limit on 2 set for most dmg (glamoth) within battle. do those buffs apply even though you dont have the correct amount of speed outside of battle? or do you need the required speed outside of battle to get the bonuses?
Hi dryadan4114, to answer the question, yes, as long as you have enough speed inside a battle, you can activate the 2 set effect of Glamoth! So for this example, Glamoth needs you to reach 160 speed for its full effect, you can simply use a character with 110 speed, use Asta's ultimate to gain 50 extra speed, now your character has 160 speed, activating Glamoth's effect 👍
You don't necissarilly need the 160 speed Over 135 Speed is achievable enoupgh to do just enoupgh damage to finish off Opponents for me i'd rather choose a healer/ or Healer/Buffer for my DOT team over asta as survivability is probably more high priority then just Boosting That damage ratio. one fatal Mistake without a healer on the team Will cost My character Loss rate from Enemies just one-Shotting them 😂 i agree while asta is a great speed buff She's not necissarily needed.

Bcuz kafka lightning set is pretty solid you could put the new set on other dot characters while you’re farming. But ideally you want all your dot characters on this new set.
It is, without any buffs or debuffs it's stronger by about 3% by default, adding supports creates a spike of about 10% in favor of the new set. It's quite flexible too, buffs are amazing but even more def shred is also really good. But the most powerful thing is farming all the dot characters in the same domain.
Looks at some of my chars relics: - Hunt char with HP main stat pieces - some of them using 4* pieces - no one has fully leveled Relics - Very few pieces from matching Simulated universe sets ... Im sure there will be better sets in the future for now i will try to get everyone to max lvl, traces and maybe i should try to upgrade some Light cones (most are at 60/70 max) I will get to it ... yeah i will make it my new years resolution: to kit out a team of characters with matching relics ... this should be fine.
I don't think it's her stronger aspect. Sometimes I use her with my Kafka but on easier content (my Serval is crit-based). Endgame is 2 between Sampo/Guinaifen/Luka
I got to say, as much as i loved kafka since May when i started playing honkai, im pretty dissapointed with how she turned out to be. She's the main dps and the strongest DoT unit in the team and she still deals underwhelming damage compared to the other units that came after her. Maybe she needs another 5star DoT character to either buff her DoT or add even more DoT for her to enable. No hate here, any comment on how to make her work better would be appreciated.
DoT is completely different from other forms of dps so this isn't really a good comparison, anyway those "higher damage" characters will eventually be powercrept while Kafka will only get better as new DoT characters release

The DoT set is ironically better than 4pc Fire set for Fire characters since most of them have a built-in burn in their kit.
So even my Hook needs a refarm 😭
And also because Fire set generally sucks for most characters

Your Kafka has the same speed stat as mine but she do need 2 more to reach 160 without any outside buffs besides her signature LC

Yep, wind shear is considered a DoT, you can treat that as one of the stacks for the prisoner set 👍

Don't feel pressured to change immediately tho, prioritize traces > levels > relics. Farming a good set is rng hell.
It's actually only 10% DMG bonus, but I think you should focus more on traces rather than relics

Her Skill and Ult at E4 applies shock, so yes, while her whole kit deals extra damage to enemies with the shock status.
