    At first I thought the T Wolves could go either way, Towns or Okafor. However after watching this video Towns should be the clear cut #1. I'm seeing good things he hasn't even displayed at Kentucky. If he needs to work anything it would be his back to the basketball game. He looks a lot more comfortable in the face up game.

    He sounds very smart and I think that combined with his ability will give him a HOF career barring any big injuries.

      ***** His offensive skills around the hoop come around once in a decade. He will get better on the defensive end, remember he's a freshman too, and he was the only big that Duke had, let's give the kid a break.

    • @DoUEvenLiftBro
      @DoUEvenLiftBro 9 лет назад +3

      wiley schmitt Towns does a lot of things better. He's a better shooter, defender, rim protector, passer. The only thing Okafor is better at is scoring around the basket. Not hating on Okafor, but Towns is clearly the better talent and has more potential.

    The TWolves are young and exciting. Although in the west, if they can keep the core of Wiggins, Towns, Lavine, and Rubio healthy, you're looking at a playoff team in a couple years possibly.

  • @crawlFace

    Awesome video as usual.
    I feel this year's draft is quite simple. The first couple of picks are going to be a lot about what the team needs. Okafor and Towns have great potential, either one could be a 1st pick. And if a team really needed a pg then Russell is a great risk to take. When it gets to pick 3 or 4 those teams can still get a pg like Mudiay or go big with Cauley-Stein or Kaminsky etc. It's a pretty solid class.
    Many of us like to project and compare who a kid plays like, so I thought I'd say: Towns reminds me of young Amar'e Stoudemire, but I can agree that Towns may have/develop better defense.

      I think there's a good chance he can be a solid player or at least a quality role player. But maybe his athleticism is a bit of a concern and he never takes it to the next level, instead gets buried on the bench or fades into obscurity etc.

      Not at all!!!! Willie Cauley stein is 7"2 so Karl is like 6"11/7"0

    • @fadeawade03
      @fadeawade03 9 лет назад +2

      Flat footed they measured him 6'10.75
      NBA list heights with shoes on so he'll be listed either 6'11 0r 7'0

    • @MegaBadzilla
      @MegaBadzilla 9 лет назад

      josh gershfield cauley stein is not 7'2 lmfao. he is 6'11.25 barefoot and 7'0 in shoes. they measured him at the combine. that makes karl about 6'10

    • @MegaBadzilla
      @MegaBadzilla 9 лет назад

      Khali Williams i think he is about 6'9.5 to 6'10 barefoot. look at that draft lottery video where he stands next to okafor for a photo. jahlil has got an inch on him and jahlil is listed at 6'11, even 6'10 on some websites

    • @MegaBadzilla
      @MegaBadzilla 9 лет назад

      ***** lol he is not. those 'listed' heights were measured at nike training camps, they are notorious of letting you put whatever height you want. the only reliable measurement is from nba combine which he did not attend

  • @goatmouthjones90

    • @MegaBadzilla

    • @MegaBadzilla
      @MegaBadzilla 9 лет назад +1

      ***** lol if you think horford is slow wait until you see karl towns play, horford is considered athletic and explosive for his position. towns is considered average

    He is not going to be the next kareem or the next Hakeem. He won't be the next shaq or the next gasol. He won't be the next Wilt or Russel. THIS GUY HAS THE ATHLETIC BODY, AND THE SHOT, AND SKILLS TO BE BETTER THAN ALL OF THEM. Now maybe its a stretch before I see him play NBA LEVEL DEFENSE but he has the athleticism to kill on that side too...

    • @kudabeen
      @kudabeen 9 лет назад +2

      TylerTheKidd Funny his High School coach swears that he shoots at his age as well as Durrant did. Can't compare him to MVP Durrant, but Univ of Texas maybe. He can certainly shoot...Coach Cal made him work exclusively on his interior game (his weakness) and he dominated in college with just that...now he is showing his range and creativity and is impressing. Him being able to run the break and fade out to the 3pt line at times at his size it will be hard for other bigs to track him...Rubio, Wiggins and LeVine have a great prospect power forward coming. With Pek and Dieng I'm excited about the Wolves
