The tunes are 1) Polska Adapted From Carl Eric Berndt, 2) Plaenez Mon Sort (probably French trad), 3) Chassepain (composed by hurdy-gurdy player Gilles Chabenat). So the second and third are bourrees, the first is a Swedish polska, although repurposed a bit to feel like a bourree. If you can find Andy's recording with Karen Tweed called "One Roof Under", this set is from there.
The first tune in this set was composed by the great Michel Pillet at his home in Loire valley. It's called 'Verdigris'.
Ok, thanks! What are the others do you know?
@@mboursnell Andy Cutting says their name in his intro. The first one he didn't know the title, so I added it here :)
Hilarious intro, and great playing from the master!
Do I detect a touch of Sliabh Luachra style polka playing in the first tune ...?????
Amazing. I could play six hours every day for the rest of my life and not be half as good. What a musician!
Rubbish - you could. Treat yourself to a great box. It's not actually that hard. Most tunes come to you as you sleep.
It's a son write by Rémy geoffroy ! French wonderful diatonique player
