ever noticed your last part words when you start talking is WAY louder than the music you were playing? noticed it in couple of videos like i need to jump to keyboard to down the volume or neighbours would hear about "hey guys thank you that youve a metalhead noise neighbour"
@@DrSMILE-xc1dp I like Tyler as a creator content (his legendary video series is cool for example) and seems like a Nice guy to me. But i really didn't learn anything with his videos. You can blame me on that saying "Well, Tyler is an amazing guitar player, maybe You just suck and want to throw shit at him cause you're an awfull player" and that could be fair but i do learn a Lot from other creators, Adam Neely did videos about how to get odd time signatures and how to play upright bass if You only play regular bass and those were very helpfull.
awe, lol.... i like musiciswin. it's not that expensive either. my neice who's currently learning from both nic and MIW (and whatever the hell i can teach her), loves those two.
No way watch GuitarZeroToHero so much easier and better presented Marty Schwartz is harder with his explaining he also tends to go really quick some of his tutorials are bs
Luckyboy94 i would suggest GuitarZeroToHero trust me i have used both for help and even with GuitarZeroToHero he responds to a lot of his fans on help very easy way he explains
Lets not forget "the learning curve" - I noticed it when trying to learn walking bass. Start by playing only the roots in open positions. Okay now we're going to add the fifths. Like this _starts noodling around the bridge, adding harmonics, complex rhythms etc_ See its easy! So why don't we try adding the third! _Goes Jaco Pastorius on you_
You forgot the kind of "lessons" that have tabs scrolling and a guy playing in the background Of those guys who just play slowly without explaining anything
Well, I mostly watch lessons from Nikola Gugoski and I find it helpful and quick to learn, but it's a double edged sword since I don't know what the hell am I doing 🤣, so after I learn the song I watch other lessons to know the name of the chords.
Music comes from the soul.. an open door in the mind lets it flow into you, feel it and let it out in any way shape or form..rock on my badass music friends
Learning guitar is like playing a video game. You just keep playing it till you reach the next level and then the next.....all you require is the passion! 🔥
Scott's Bass Lessons is literally like, half of the list in one. Talk it out, the "I've worked with the greatest," overenthusiastic, the "just buy my lessons," the underprepared, the it's easy, and probably more. It honestly makes it hard to watch his stuff, and imo it makes it harder to be a bassist when you're learning because it could steer some people away who are a bit too impatient.
You got it spot on dude its sad really I love now how everyone bashes self taught guitarist saying you can't learn on your own wich is bs and everyone has the secrets
Got an Ad for this video promising to make me the greatest guitarist for FREE. The best part is they said I don't need to learn "any boring music theory". Couldn't have been a better ad
*But don't worry, it's easy*
Videos on point my dude. Great job. 🤘
I want schecter back
You're going too slow in your lessons. I've been playing for 2 days so you don't need to sugar coat this for me.
Yngwie Malmsteen

I hate Music Is Win. I like the way he's playing but not the way he's teaching..
@EntityZero I used to download his 3-4 videos about guitar lesson and none of them are helpful.

I watched 144p in 144p , there was a grand total of 72p
watch the 144p part with 144p config and you get 288p
change my logic
The audio was in 140p
That would just be 144p silly, not 72p
@@drductape r/woooosh
That p is small, need bigger p
Marty Schwartz honestly gives some legitimately good lessons with no bullshit
True that! I used to learn a lot from Marty's videos during my initial days of learning guitar

I learned Enter Sandman from him and that was the first riff I learned.
True. He's a pretty good guitar teacher
"Don't worry it's easy".. I always want to punch these people in the face for making me feel like a noobster xDDD
You're hair is so fucking awesome!
You have a cool guitar 🎸
Yup, you're a noob... Just kidding ✌️
Marty Shwartz
I’ve found a few who really try to make it easy
The actual helpful yet underrated ones....
“Heeeey whatsup guys! Marty Schwartz here!”
omg the feels man but don't forget
"Hey how you doin' Justin here"
He's only helpful if your a begginer or low intermediate. No hate towards him though he's cool
Carl brown is waaaaaaaaaay better. Got to love Marty though.
@@Weevil_Fam Carl is good, he just goes too fast most of the time

Coyright on the water. I'm dead, best reference:D
The "I've worked with the best of the best" one is so relatable for me trying to find lesson videos
Let's not forget about the "my guitar is unique in the world!" one
^^ true
Nicks picking technique elevated my playing to the next level. A trve life changer!
The really underrated ones but teaches really good
Lee John Blackmore super easy guitar lessons
the super fast talking/playing guy! hits home.
4:53 nik's enthusiasm broke the video
Ben Eller is the literal embodiment of "The Guilt Trip"
'Just talk it out' is about half of the video lessons on how to play a song. Great upload!
You forgot the kind of "lessons" that have tabs scrolling and a guy playing in the background
Of those guys who just play slowly without explaining anything
Well, I mostly watch lessons from Nikola Gugoski and I find it helpful and quick to learn, but it's a double edged sword since I don't know what the hell am I doing 🤣, so after I learn the song I watch other lessons to know the name of the chords.
those are pretty great imo

When I want to learn a Slipknot song I often watch Masuke videos and he does it like this. For me it actually works.
3:03 Playing CAFO with pinky is some next level

Chris Zoupa is my favorite guitar vid teacher
That sweep picking was so smooth :o
"THERE'S ONLY A FINITE NUMBER OF PLACES IT COULD GO"
I have yelled this exact thing word for word for the same reason on more than one occasion.
You had me bro, when you told to hold the pick between thumb and pinky😂😂😂
As the Russian I laughed sooo baad when you tried Russian accent 😂😂😂😂😂😂
This video deffo deserves the like button! hahah
I've been playing for 6 years and still struggle sweeping
I've been playing for 15 years and still suck at sweeping. though I play a lot of punk music so solos took a backseat to powerchords
Steve Edmondson You know it's not obligatory, right?
I've been playing 9 years and not even bothered with sweeping😂
My favorite type of guitar lesson video is Nik Nocturnal onces :)
"Free guitar course just today" .. love these add timings.

The 144p LYFE has got to be the best one🤣
Your guitar looks dope man
