    Are you using MWS mags? I 'm having some issues (nozzles getting damaged) using TM mags. GM nozzle, stock.. all broken/damaged. A lot of people complaining about the issue.. seems that is some gap on the magwell.
    Great play.

      Cheers!
      Yes unfortunately this seems to be a problem with most of these DE's (we have 2 in the crew both with same issue). It's an easy fix though.
      The magwell is slightly out of spec. There's too much forwards / backwards play so slimmer mags like the stock TM or G&P 46round pmags wobble or "tilt" so that the maglip drops down, the loading arm on the nozzle hits the BB too high up and rolls over the bb. Missfeeding and pushing the nozzle up into the hop house which may break or damage the nozzle.
      On our DE's we have made a small shim made out of velcro and superglue (forms almost a epoxy like piece). Then sanded it down so mags go in and out without too much force.
      This shim seems to be enough to prevent these mags from dropping low in the magwell when firing.
      The shim is just about 1cm tall and a few mm thick. It should sit in the middle grove near the bottom, close to the triggerguard and away from the hammer (you dont want to push the entire mag forwards. just prevent the tilt).
      Hope this helps and you dont break anymore nozzles.

    Got mine in a few days time. Does changing the bolt to TM’s fix the “easy breaking nozzle” problem?

    • @Basterds_Airsoft
      @Basterds_Airsoft  9 месяцев назад +1

      What version did you get? Only the EU version with the specially designed magazine seems to have the magwell issue which can cause a broken nozzle.

      @stanlee2587 9 месяцев назад

      @@Basterds_Airsoft mine is the EU issue. I’m going to swap a TM bolt into it. Not sure whether it will fix the problem. Or how should I fix the problem

    • @Basterds_Airsoft
      @Basterds_Airsoft  9 месяцев назад +1

      @@stanlee2587 The issue seems to be that mags which aren't as thick as the one that comes with the gun creates play between the magazine and the magwell and this can in turn cause the nozzle to ride over the feed lips and smash into the metal hop house and deform or break the plastic nozzle. This may happen if you shoot full auto or very fast semi as the recoil itself makes the magazine wobble.
      Original stanag MWS mags are especially prone to this as they fit rather loosely in the magwell.
      A fix that we have done to two DE Noveskes is to place a small strip of adhesive loop velcro in the back of the magwell. A small piece is enough and it's important to make sure it's not long enough to cover the hammer from the triggerbox. You can easily gauge this by looking into the magwell. We used a strip of adhesive velcro from a tactical light pressure pad because it happens to be the perfect size width wise. It's some kind of 3M adhesive velcro.
      Doing this fix removes the excessive wobble but in turn it can make some mags difficult to seat. Especially a thicker mag on a closed bolt for example. You then need to make sure that the mag clicks into position correctly everytime you reload or you risk some bolt jams. I've had some jams where the mag didn't fully seat the last millimeter but thankfully it seems that the stoppages induced by this aren't as catastrophic since the nozzle has not been smashed by these stoppages. Just be mindful of that. Before applying the velcro make sure you clean the back of the magwell and you can also trim the velcro a bit just to ease the thickness of it if you are planning to use different type of mags.
      Ideally you only run one type of mag as you then have a set mag thickness to work with. The standard nozzle works fine and the issue won't be remedied by another nozzle unfortunately, it's the magwell wobble which needs to be adressed. But it's an easy fix.

      Ah shame you lost it. It came loose on one of my bolts. I just superglued it back on. Hope you find a good replacement bolt. Just be mindful of lightweight bolt might not work well with the trigger. Mine randomly shot bursts for some reason and sometimes jammed as it probably was too light and got pushed up by the mag.

      :) You might have recieved a very nice build then! I agree on the triggerbox. It's much better than stock TM. So good that I've put it in another MWS (there's a guns modify box in my noveske now).
      On my DE I've had to shim alot of parts with glue etc, and tighten things up as it was a rattling mess out of the box.
      Upper - lower rattle. Charging handle rattle. outerbarrel could be turned with hand force...
      Shot very hot out of box so needed NPAS or nozzle replacement.
      BUT thats minor things. Gun is a beast for the low price.
