Canale invernale "Che non c’è". Lazio, Terminillo: alpinismo (AD-)

Percorso: si parte dal rifugio Angelo Sebastiani al Terminillo (1.820 m). Si supera il canale dell’Orsacchiotta, e subito dopo inizia il “canale Che non c’è”, non facile individuare. Primo tratto facile, anche in considerazione della neve dura, pendenze 50°. Poi un pendio a 60° che è il preludio del tratto chiave della via: un muretto ghiacciato con misto roccia e terra, pendenze fino a 75°. Si prosegue con pendenza 45°/50°, con veduta del canale dell’Orsacchiotta, fino alla cresta e poi alla vetta del Monte Terminillo (2.216 m). Discesa dal canale centrale, variante di sinistra.
Lunghezza: 4 km (anello). Dislivello: circa 450 m, da m 1.777 m a 2.216 m
Livello: via alpinistica AD-, su neve dura, a tratti roccia e ghiaccio, pendenze fino a 75°
Periodo: Febbraio
Equipaggiamento: casco, bastoni, ramponi, 2 piccozze, corda per assicurarsi (nota: nel video usata a volte in modo improprio nei tratti più facili, per favorire le riprese)

Itinerary: it starts from the Angelo Sebastiani refuge at Terminillo (1,820 m). You pass the Canale dell'Orsacchiotta, and immediately afterwards begins the "Canale Che non c'è", not easy to identify. Easy first stretch, also considering the hard snow, 50° slope. Then a 60° slope which is the prelude to the crux of the route: a frozen wall with a mix of rock and earth, slopes up to 75°. Continue with a 45°/50° slope, with a view of the Orsacchiotta canal, up to the crest and then to the summit of Monte Terminillo (2,216 m). Descent from the central couloir, left variant.
Length: 4 km (loop). Difference in altitude: about 450 m, from 1,777 m to 2,216 m
Level: AD- mountaineering route, on hard snow, sometimes rock and ice, slopes up to 75°
