BTS don't do lip sync. During one of their world tour, V had a problem with his throat. Fans sing during his parts and there was no recorded voice. He was so frustrated by that and even cried on stage. They are just too good, that's why you have doubts. But never lip sync with them, just backing tracks for ad libs
Well, they've improved their lip syncing for the Dynamite MV. 😂 Some of their lip syncing for MVs don't even involve moving their mouths and are funny as heck. 😂

For me, this song is about acknowledging our difficulties in life including moments of not being able to love yourself, despair, like you're at the end of the rope and that they also experience this. Sharing stories are an important part of life and helps connect us. Show me, tell me your problems, and they'll do the same, let's empathise with each other and BTS will be there to support you if you need them to, find them within yourself when you need (door inside your heart - a way to self-soothe imagine beautiful sunsets, relax drink some tea and look at the stars). I liked the part where they choose not to invalidate your emotions by telling you to just be strong (have strength) as people are generally not taught the importance of validating others' emotions - people often don't want solutions but for someone to listen and acknowledge their feelings.
Jimin has the brightest voice and V has the darkest voice tone in vocal line. Jin and Jungkook’s voices are more breathy. They all have very interesting and unique tone but blended so well in their songs. I personally prefer Jimin’s voice. But I really love Jungkook’s English cover song too. Looking forward you to next BTS’s songs.
BTS don't lip sync..they sing live with some backing track since they do hard choreography while singing but basically they sing live and their stamina and voice control is absolutely amazing.

But sometimes he sang the whole thing live, you can tell when he does. I don't think they have any problem with lip syncing when their choreo is hardcore. They're human, so, doesn't really bother me personally when they do.
Swusi Jimin only lip synced in those songs bc how tf is he supposed to sing and be stable while he is jumping and then grinding on the floor. That’s gonna be hard

"Magic Shop is a song by BTS dedicated to their fans, the ARMYs, and serves to tell us they will forever be with us." These mega talented young men even sing live during their fast and complex choreography. They train for breath control by singing while running on a treadmill.
I cried when I heard the song live at the concert in London. I always listen to this song when I'm having a panic attack. There's something about it that calms me down - I think maybe the pulsing of the track and then the almost sing along part at the end gives me something else to focus on and feel. So when I heard it live it felt very very emotional. I will never forget it.
Cool reaction thank you! You may really enjoy BTS’ live performances of their Japanese song “Your Eyes Tell”, and my persona favorite is “The Truth Untold” live (TTU is just the vocal line; Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook). Showcases their vocal abilities very well.
U should react to JIMIN's song LIE, or SERENDIPITY. JUNGKOOK's song EUPHORIA. V's song SINGULARITY. And JIN's song EPIPHANY. U will definitely be able to tell the difference of their vocals from each one of these songs. So please check them out
JK usually does all of the harmonies except when Jimin provides the harmony for JK. Their voices blend so well that sometimes it's difficult to differentiate them.
I always prefer the live version, even if they make some mistakes, you can feel the emotion they put in the song, for me it's worth it because usually that improves the performance a lot. My opinion, I'm not an expert lol💜
jin's chest voice just hits me all the time. 💜 they all sound so gorgeous, as always. beautiful song too with such a meaningful lyrics for bts and armys. 😭
Appreciate all the extra effort and detail you put into this. Even the cute part at the end, the way you edited in comments you hadn't said out piud at the time for us to read and notice. Looking forward to more videos from you, thank you!
I love BTS live preformances there are always so many adlibs they just throw in and they will feed off the fans and lets join in with the refrains, fan chants etc etc.
This song is based on the psychological principles of the “Magic shop”. It is based up on the book called “Into the Magic Shop” by James R.Doty. I suggest you read that to understand the meaning on a deeper level. BTS songs are deep and contains many psychological references. There is a whole series that covers the philosophies of the psychologist Carl Jung.
BTS really shines when they perform live. As great as the studio versions are, their lives are almost always better. Their energy and joy while performing just really brings something extra to their performances. :)
i think this is the first time i see a vocal coach (or anyone really) who does a lil research on them, listens to the studio version and then the live version, and only then gives an honest opinion on it, really cool thanks 👍🏻 no one expects people to know their names or recognise their voices when you've never heard a bts song before, of course, so i think it's cool that you took the time to look them up 👍🏻
I love their studio music, but I almost always prefer their live versions. I think sometimes the studio versions have too much "polish" or special effects, and sometimes take away from their voices. They all sound so wonderful and sometimes I don't understand why they don't highlight it more. Like with their newest song Dynamite, the studio version is a bop and gets me dancing every time I listen to it, but when I watched them perform it live at the VMAs, they blew me out of the water with how good they sounded, and you could actually hear the vocals of the members Jin and V better in the live version. So while ARMY love the studio versions, in my experience, a LOT of us prefer the live versions.
At this concert, they sang Magic Shop right after IDOL which is super intense with really difficult choreography, so at the beginning of this song they were still a little out of breath from the previous performance...and they still did a phenomenal job!
Thank you for your reaction! I am very glad that you are a serious young man, it is nice to see your room without children's toys and other nonsense. You were commenting essentially without raising your voice. I really liked it!!!
V - KIM TAEHUNG voice is so unique beautiful, deep and strong!! the bridge en magic shop is the best part of the song to me! and YES! I always think that their songs are much better in live than in studio recorder. They are amazing!!
I really enjoy vocal coach reactions to BT and I enjoyed yours. I'm looking forward to more. I liked how you wrote comments in post and revisited parts of the song relistening and also comparing between live and studio versions. I think you had a good mix of technical comments on the different vocal types also. High five :)
Well, magic shop is a really healing song for me. It's about finding a place where you can feel alright and heal your inner conflicts within yourself. And i love the love version too🥺💜
I like how you pause and compare to the studio version ^^, I love this so song much it means a lot to me. It has helped me through personal hardships. When I doubt myself I find myself listening to this song. It comforts me and also gives me strength to pull myself out of whatever situation I find myself in. I love them so much my heart could shatter into millions of pieces.
Also could you react to Ken(Vixx)- Its only my world @duet song festival? No vocal coach reacts to this one but in my opinion it’s worth to watch because Ken and Sangyeop are doing an incredible job. If you don’t it’s okay but I like your reaction and your attention to detail.
Interesting style of video reaction here. One thing I want to say that keep in mind, that these guys are dancing very difficult choreos sooo much on their concerts. So their voice can be unstable. But this song in particular very calm. Still even though they are dancing and singing at the same time they are doing it really great compare it to many other western artists. They've gone through so much tough training to be able to do that. Bc in Korea industry they dance so much while performing. Almost 6 years ago when I found out about them for the first time I was really impressed and even now I'm still impressed every time. I can see their improvements. They are really great singers, rappers and performers. 🙏🏻🖤
this song was written by the youngest member, jungkook, and it was about ARMY, their fans. the magic shop it's supposed to be the place where you can exchange something that brings you sadness to something that will bring you joy so when they sing that we're gonna open a door in our hearts and they'll be there is because we as fans allowed them to live in our hearts and they're prepared to help us to get over bad stuff in our lives. also when they sing "you gave me the best of me so you'll give you the best of you" it's something like "you were able to help us become who we are now, you helped to find the best of us so you're able to do that to yourself as well". it's a really deep song about the bond between BTS and ARMY 💜 btw thank you SO MUCH for this reaction!!! I'll make sure to check more of your videos!
Oh wow! I am so happy that you chose "Magic Shop". Usually new reactors stick to Bangtan's title tracks to react to. I personally love this song and was thrilled that someone decided to give it a listen. 💜
magic shop is based in the book ‘into the magic shop’ is a book written by a neurosurgeon that focus on a little boy that has a lot of family problems and he finds a lady on the magic shop that teaches him how to deal with his feelings, how to relax, meditate and more, making the magic shop feel like a place of comfort for him (BTS also talks about it in the song) a really good book, no wonder BTS got inspired by it.
Thank you for the review. Magic shop is my favorite song from bts. But the live version from their concert is more beautiful. They are not doing the lip sync.
There are 4 vocalists (Jungkook, Jimin,V & Jin) 3 rappers (RM, Suga & J-Hope). IMO they sing/rap better live than studio. For the vocal line ck out- house of cards, the truth untold, dimple. For a rap, ck out- outro: tear, cypher 3, cypher 4, ddaeng Oh and they have solos and mixtapes too.
When he replayed *J-Hope's* part I cried cause finally someone recognised how amazing *J-Hope's* voice is 😌😭 and *V* doing the bridge is so emotional, I love it and it never fails to make me tear up 😭😭. The live versions are always better than the studio versions 💯💜
Besides having God given talent...of course they have to practice even if takes a hundred times. The best about BTS is how they persistently & consistently work hard in their craft. So they can give great performances for us.
believe me, it's not just me but you asked which one we prefer, being there yourself is the best, of course not everyone gets to even if they want to, but when you are surrounded by so many people, it just makes you emotional and it's just so magical, i didn't expect it but when they started singing and when it came to fanchant parts i fricking cried so hard, i can't describe it any other way then magical, truly.
I love ot7 but Jin Jimin Jungkook Hi's voice my goodness i love the mix voice and vocal His have amazing voice good job in every song's i love this voice's ❤❤
I’m A.R.M.Y. but being retired (I’m 66), and from a very small town, I’ve never had the chance to see them live (yet!), but I’ve heard them talk about how much strength and energy they get from being able to look into the eyes of their fans and see the love there, and how much that means to them because they genuinely love us, too. That’s why the live versions are better. The direct contact between us empowers them strongly.
BTS is unique in that they have a number of songs written specifically for their fans. Basically love songs from BTS to ARMY, their fan group. BTS plays to audiences in sold out stadiums that hold 60,000 to 90,000 people and with the stadium being dark and the fans waiving their light sticks, the fans look a lot like stars in the night sky. Because of that, there are a lot of references to stars, lights, and galaxies in BTS' songs for ARMY. BTS struggled a lot in their careers, especially in the beginning, and they credit ARMY for giving them the strength to overcome everything that they went through. BTS will literally push themselves to collapsing, performing on stage for ARMY and ARMY has been known to do some pretty awesome stuff in the name of BTS, too. This song is about that relationship, between BTS and ARMY. The "Magic Shop" is an actual psychological technique where you trade negative things for positive and that's what BTS is saying they'll help ARMY do. Turn the negative into positive. The thing is, they actually do just that for their fans.
In recent award show called GDA ,BTS were singing Dynamite for encore stage But the production mistakenly cut off the BG Music ,But still V continued to sing watch that clip if anyone says it's doesn't sing live ,That one clip is enough to prove that BTS sings live.
Great reaction, it's the first time i watch a reactor really compare the studio and the live version, and of course we prefer live than studio one because this boys are better live, try "Your Eyes Tell", it's also wrote and produced by the same member, our JK.. plis continue to listen to our boys, we purple you.....
This was cool to compare the live to the recording. They are so similar 🤩Our guys are super professional. That is why they are #1 right now. They love what they do. 🤗🥰💜

U should react to JIMIN's song LIE, or SERENDIPITY. JUNGKOOK's song EUPHORIA. V's song SINGULARITY. And JIN's song EPIPHANY.
U will definitely be able to tell the difference of their vocals from each one of these songs. So please check them out
jimin lie is legend
@@rengina484 Agreed!
I listen to their lives more than their studio versions. They're brilliant. Created to perform. GOAT.
Yes 💜
I wholeheartedly agree!
jin's chest voice just hits me all the time. 💜 they all sound so gorgeous, as always. beautiful song too with such a meaningful lyrics for bts and armys. 😭
3:07 i don't know if someone said this already, but the one who harmonises (with the lower voice) is j-hope. he's one of the rappers of the group :)
Thanks for the info! :)
V has a very amazing voice, surprising voice range, every song is different,he is unpredictable,he can sing anything...
Appreciate all the extra effort and detail you put into this. Even the cute part at the end, the way you edited in comments you hadn't said out piud at the time for us to read and notice. Looking forward to more videos from you, thank you!
Thank you for the appreciation! 🙂
That's jimin who hit the high notes
BTS really shines when they perform live. As great as the studio versions are, their lives are almost always better. Their energy and joy while performing just really brings something extra to their performances. :)
i think this is the first time i see a vocal coach (or anyone really) who does a lil research on them, listens to the studio version and then the live version, and only then gives an honest opinion on it, really cool thanks 👍🏻 no one expects people to know their names or recognise their voices when you've never heard a bts song before, of course, so i think it's cool that you took the time to look them up 👍🏻
Thank you for the nice comment, Andra. I'm glad you appreciate it. Make sure to check out my vocal tips in case you sing too. ✌️
I love the LIVE version. You can FEEL the energy -- and how amazing to hear the call and response with the crowd. Gives me chills every time.
I always prefer live version of bts. Rap and vocal line sounds much better live, the emotions are diferent than the studio version
yep, agree
Pls next reaction Jimin best live hight notes and raspy vocals
He does raspy vocals? 😳

They always rise to the occasion and excede themselves when they sing live.
Thank you so much, "Meh" 😀🙌
Well, magic shop is a really healing song for me. It's about finding a place where you can feel alright and heal your inner conflicts within yourself. And i love the love version too🥺💜
I like all their MVs but seeing them doing live..its real pleasure..and watch their concert with armys ,goosebump all over my body..
Please react to 'BTS Jimin best live high note and raspy vocal compilation' by Jem
I like how you pause and compare to the studio version ^^,
I love this so song much it means a lot to me.
Jimin always blew me away.
He co wrote, he did not wrote it
@@beany1944 Get a life my dear
@@Marta-rz7iq i think you must get one you are really misinformed and rude to the core.
Oh wow! I am so happy that you chose "Magic Shop". Usually new reactors stick to Bangtan's title tracks to react to. I personally love this song and was thrilled that someone decided to give it a listen. 💜
V's voice is so deep and soulful i just love it
he can also get high notes
@@rengina484 of course, that's part of why he's my bias XD his voice is just so beautiful
Personally i prefer live versions because they're singing live so there's no autotune and they're killing it!
magic shop is based in the book ‘into the magic shop’ is a book written by a neurosurgeon that focus on a little boy that has a lot of family problems and he finds a lady on the magic shop that teaches him how to deal with his feelings, how to relax, meditate and more, making the magic shop feel like a place of comfort for him (BTS also talks about it in the song) a really good book, no wonder BTS got inspired by it.
The singing guru Gideon. He’s the best vocal coach out there. I’m on my second 10 lesson’s soon with this guy,and what a great journey it’s been.
Honored to help you out! 🤘
For a rap, ck out- outro: tear, cypher 3, cypher 4, ddaeng
Oh and they have solos and mixtapes too.
The live versions always bring tears to my eyes
believe me, it's not just me but you asked which one we prefer, being there yourself is the best, of course not everyone gets to even if they want to, but when you are surrounded by so many people, it just makes you emotional and it's just so magical, i didn't expect it but when they started singing and when it came to fanchant parts i fricking cried so hard, i can't describe it any other way then magical, truly.
They are a whole new level live. They give you so much energy. And we haven't even talked about the message of their songs yet.
I like how you end the video... Hahahaha
Thanks for the reaction, so much information that helps me a lot.
Thank you, Chester! 😁
Such a good song! Also loving the reactions to their concert videos!!
Thank you so much for react to our boys! And was a really interesting video, i hope we can see it more bts in your channel!
Thank you for that reaction
Thank you for watching! 😊
He got my like at the last second of the video 😂
Great reaction, it's the first time i watch a reactor really compare the studio and the live version, and of course we prefer live than studio one because this boys are better live, try "Your Eyes Tell", it's also wrote and produced by the same member, our JK.. plis continue to listen to our boys, we purple you.....
Glad you liked it! 🙂

LIVE!!!!! Love the Live!!!
This was cool to compare the live to the recording. They are so similar 🤩Our guys are super professional. That is why they are #1 right now. They love what they do. 🤗🥰💜
honestly I can't end the song without crying, they mean so much to me even though they don't know me.. they make me feel better about myself when I'm down and they're really the best people I've ever listened to..

Bts are best live trust me I have been to their concert they are the best performers on this planet they have a huge discography keep reacting Fyi they write and produce there own music with beautiful lyrics this one is done by jk sometime they do use us writer just to covert the language otherwise they are always involved in their songs I highly recommend THIS IS BTS by xceleste before any other reaction you might get knows a lot about their music and how it came to be MUST WATCH
This song always bring me back to their concert and idk why but my eyes always get watery

Yes live version! Not sure if somebody already said, this was in one of their concerts in japan..
I am infatuated with the parts of Jimin every time. Anyway, all seven are one, I love
There were probably around 60,000-75,000 people at that concert. I've seen them sing this live at a different concert and it was so incredibly beautiful and touching. Thanks for the great analysis :)
Jungkook sing exactly like the studio version..he is incredibly stable and he eat cd everyday...thanks for the reaction...
best jimin's voice
This is about Jungkook.... but not disagreeing
Omg I really enjoyed watching your reaction video !! I mean, you know lots of people make reaction content about BTS, then write a title with, "Vocal Coach React BTS bah blah blah," but in reality the content of the content is not much different from the usual reaction content. But you are different, you really explained the singing technique that BTS uses in the 'Magic Shop' 🥺 Thank you for your hard work😭😭
Magic Shop is a song by BTS dedicated to their fans, the ARMYs, and serves to tell us they will forever be with us.💜Magic shop is a place where your fears are exchanged for happiness💜A song made for fans by the youngest member of BTS, Jungkook. He expressed that they would feel very happy if fans can find comfort through this song when they’re struggling, tired & in pain.💜
