@@hey_its_fox Don't get me wrong its not dog tier trash talent. It's a manaless ability so its pure benefit, it just gives a lot less value than other talents. Power word shield gives anduin more burst sustain which is better against good players and coordinated stacks which always have higher kill threat, it also gives anduin more self sustain as he is a key target. Given you should be going anduins W talent at 13 (for the most reliable mobility) you get even more value from this due to reduced cooldown. Evenhanded is not something i go but can be better at sustaining your team without forcing them to reposition. The tiny aoe of lightwell creates problems. If its placed in backline your teammate is forced afk for several seconds, even if it placed in teamfights there will be many instances where the fight moves naturally away from the lightwell itself. Healing wards have the same issue and are never picked at high ranks for a similar reason. Just very few instances where it has great value. Like i said before, its manaless so it helps with your mana, but anduin rarely has such issues if managed correctly
An example of another manaless ability which sees a lot more play is desperate prayer at lvl 7. The key difference is it provides burst heal, which can be the difference between life and death, especially considering the cast time on flash heal. That is how much the burst heal is valued, literally willing to cc myself for 2 seconds which is horrendously bad.
@@hey_its_fox Lightwell is not bad. It's actually very good, but the other two talents at 1 are better at saving friends at later stages of the game. Lightwell is 50 heal per tick (pre scaling). Shield on W is 128+scaling per ally hit and 180+ on yourself, so a potential ~700+ aoe sheild to save friends from big aoe damage. and evenhanded blessings is more Qs to help your friends to stay alive (and has amazing synergy with binding heal).
Lightwell is not a talent picked for a team fight. Shields from w should be much better in tf, because they can be put on a longer distance and people don't need to stay in one place to get them. But the lightwell is excellent to pick to heal your solo laner. You come to your little solo, you put a well, you heal him up (yeah, in that order for well CD reduction), you go to the team.

For beginners this is a good guide, nice note on not underestimating anduins right clicks. I wouldn't be advertising lightwell though, poor talent.

Getting away with casting Salvation is way more satisfying then just casting an aoe stun on your diver.
