Sehr gut! Sehr gut! Mit meinen 78 Jahren frage ich mich, welches Lied das faszinierendste ist. Gott, dieser talentierte und professionelle Chor hat eine große Chance auf den ersten Platz, ich kann einfach nicht aufhören, diese Melodie zu hören. Bevor ich nachts ins Bett gehe, muss ich mir dieses Lied anhören, es ist einfach nicht von dieser Welt!

Slavko Avsenik wrote this tune. It is the # 2 most played/performed song in the world, next to La Paloma. This particular rendition simply epitomizes the spirit of this energizing masterpiece. Those folks performing are having a blast, you can tell, and, unless ice water runs through your veins, you have to succumb to the incredible charm not only of the performing artists, but the melody, so hauntingly, so manifestly displayed. Wow!
This is hypnotizing. It's amazing how crisp and full their sound is.
I love this choir! It's the most original choir I have ever heard. The arrangements are out of this world.

Whenever I need an extra boost, a rush of adrenalin, a need to stomp my feet, I get to this rendition of Slavko Avsenik's Na Golici. These young people never fail to excite me, to make me feel rejuvenated and elated. No wonder particular Jazzile work has eclipsed all their many songs. Since Trompeten echo is the # one most PLAYED song in the world, it just makes sense that it is # 2 in the world of SUNG songs. (behind La Paloma). Welcome to the US, where those talented young folks are making an impression wherever they appear.

Having hunted down the amazing Avseniks, I am even more bedazzled by PJ's prodigious talents -- and their arrangers are incredible, as well.
It is 2017 and my admiration of/for this unique ensemble has only increased. There is no stopping them, or any roadblocks where music is concerned: they sing about every genre, traditional, modern, you name it. This is music for the heart and soul---the world over.

Just now I could find the original version. The PJ performance is stuffed with lots of lovely games, scenes from real life. It is simply irresistible! It builds bridges! INCREDIBLE! I've heard this song since my boyhood in Steiermark, Austria fifty years ago hundreds of times, with Slavko, Saso and many, many others but this...THIS interpretations makes me bust out in chuckles every time. I haven't figured out what the gestures mean between the young men and women but it doesn't matter: they've honed their craft to perfection--and seem very happy to perform this # 2 song in the world.
I'd love for them to come to Vegas. Absolutely terrific performance.

The imitation of the accordion is purely amazing. What blows my mind most is what the men sing when lifting their hats, you can really hear the little metallic pieces vibrating (yes the same ones as in an harmonica) but here are so many vibrating together, greatest effect, my favorite part ! 1:42 1:58 2:44 (the first time of each) are to me more impressive than the (excellent though) « digidaï ».
Oh and big up for the beatboxer, he surely have no mouth anymore at the end of the full show :S
