Kudos to you Alan in what was both a beautiful gesture and noble sacrifice… and thank you for the inspiration which I hope will go on to save many more lives. I would so love to gift someone the opportunity to renew hope, restore health and resurrect a future, but alas as I have hydrocephalus (excess fluid on the brain) which is a neurological condition I am sadly not able to meet their stringent guidelines to be a donor. :’-( So frustrating, as I’m otherwise in perfect health. Although, it is certainly true that owners do begin to resemble their pets as you seem to have more than a passing resemblance to your cockatiel Lloyd. lol Perhaps it might be wise not to invest in a bulldog!
