Now this was a band. Saw them 'live in 91 in Halifax and they took my head off ...incredible. RIP Mark Evans..such a tight drummer. The sound is off a bit but I don't care. Pete McClanahan is the coolest bass player..he is like Sid Vicious but with talent. Johnny is a pilot now. So glad this moment in time was captured..I wish this band could have stayed together forever. Lightning in a bottle.

Every other year this band would roll through glasgow either supporting or main act, ended up seeing them more times than any other band. Staring at Kory's "Chris, all the best on your traffic tickets! Kory" that I got some point in '95. Walking down the hill into donnington to hear them on the big stage at half ten in the morning is a good memory I have, they were pretty well received then too. Big part of my life for quite a long time. RIP Evans, no way to go.
First saw them supporting Metallica in London (I think) at Wembley. Album had just hit and Korey's face was on the front of all the usual mags. Thought they were amazing and followed them since. Thing is, they never got big - Never even got much recognition at all. Despite it, he's been plugging away for what must not be 30+ years - Still doing the same thing, still angry, still clearly doing it because he has a passion for it and he's got some fucking integrity. Can't imagine the guy has had it easy all this time, playing tiny venues and the odd festival, trying to get records released etc. so I have a lot of respect for him. This show has a brilliant set-list too - proper old school WS.
Stunning. Such a cohesive version of the band. I saw the classic line up a couple of times in the early 90s, but it's amazing to see how fantastic they were for the brief reunion too.
Absolutely Crime the world doesn't know about this band. What brilliance this show is from beginning to end. PURE MAGIC. Should be a live album on colored vinyl and they should call it BLOWN AWAY.
Jason Omalley. So jealous. I was 8000 miles away at the time. I'd seen 'em a couple of times, but mates who were there said it was the best they'd seen.
Christopher Moffett I agree, but The Losers was originally not just poetic, it was a beautiful tune too, now it's a dirge. Still heart-rending, but in a different way.
This is fucking amazing!!! I got to see them a few times first time was supporting Metallica and I was sold blown away ! Saw them for £5 in Northampton a few other times but last time was Coventry and got meet kory there was literally 5 people there and this was how they played that night !!! His voice the music it’s an absolute disgrace tat they were not the most influential band ever !!!! Warrrior soul forever
Agree 100% saw WS first time supporting Metallica at the NEC wish I could find the T-shirt from then. Was also at the Arches in Cov and although next to no one it was still a great gig
This is fuckin awesome. I only got to see them live once before . On the space age playboys tour . That was fuckin awsome too . But half the lineup was different cuz it was Kory and Pete and the other dudes were the dudes from the S.A.P. album . Great show . But i never saw them with John and Mark . Tihis is as close to that as ill probably ever come . Thank you
Damn this is gold!!! I didn't know they were playing live with Ricco&Evans songs that ended in the Space Age Playboys album. This must've been not long before the end of this line-up.
This is the 10th anniversary show on 28th Sep 2000. They released the Classics CD about 2 months later. The SAP tracks on there are the original versions and this is the only show I know of where the Ricco/Evans line-up play songs from that album. Cut from the video is a couple of minutes where Ricco forgets the riff for Rotten Soul and starts playing The Drug instead. Pete shows him the riff while Kory chats with the crowd and starts the Ghetto Nation chant you see in the vid.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this! I have been waiting for this moment for 20 years. I always wondered why they didn't put something out officially from this show. This is fucking awesome. Made my fucking day!

And backyard babies opened this show . Fuckt thats awsome . I wish there was video of that too .if i had a tiime machine and a plane ticket id go back to 7 hours before this show and fly to London to see this whole show . I was in London in 2000 but i was there a coupe of months before this night . Thats why i need that time machine.. Dam . This fuckin rules . One of my all time favorite bands ever
Such a quality neat genre defying band who did their own thing and too punk for the rock crowd and far too hard rockin' for the punks while only marginally appealing to the more open minded metallers. I always thought they brought things back to the proto punk rawness of the MC5, The Stooges, The Dictators and The NYC Dolls with a dash of Led Zep thrown in while combusting a total 80's hardcore blistering attitude The point is they've been so overlooked and should have been way much bigger. A long time fave of mine.
Jesus, what an energetic live show! Rarely we can see anything like this these days. Even with this shit quality it is totally amazing. What a pity that they had no money for a better live DVD recording. (Especially lights and sound quality)
(sorry I'm i bit pissed) I saw them many times including a 50p entrance fee that we had to argue about at Keel but to beat that they played at Greys Inn for free entrance.
I would have paid a thousand bucks to have been at this show. What a band! Im still a die hard fan today.
Yeah, man!
Awesome band.
Korey is the man.
Cheers!
I travelled to London from Stockholm for this show. A memory for life.
I saw them in Sthlm in a small club in the late 2000.
Awesome and full of attitude.
Korey is the man.
Cheers!

Sucks they didn't play Charlie's Out of Prison !!
Crushing rhythm section
RIP Pete McClanahan. You were the best.
Damn, didn't know that. What a solid player. Can't make a band rock without a great bass player! RIP
One of the favourites bands in my life. When I first heard them, it was like a knife stab from around the corner
Every other year this band would roll through glasgow either supporting or main act, ended up seeing them more times than any other band. Staring at Kory's "Chris, all the best on your traffic tickets! Kory" that I got some point in '95.

Best WS I've seen since end of SFTGN era 93-94. 👏❤🤯 great upload.
Rest in peace Mark Evans always remembered never forgotten 👍👍🤘🤘

Мне нравится смотреть,за работой барабанщика. Он великолепен! 😊🔥
You can actually feel the energy and sweat.
Just fucking briljant!!!! One of the most underrated band ever! Definitely the only and best line up of WS!!!!!
Sadly it's RIP Pete McLanahan now too. Fantastic band and a great gig - first time I ever travelled beyond Scotland for a concert but we'll worth it
John Ricco is such a great guitarist. Really original. Surprised he never went on to get more recognition.
because he became a pilot
maybe WHEN YOU GO ON HOLIDAY HE WILL BE THE PILOT
He was in the band PURE 13 with bassist Anthony Esposito (Lynch Mob). They only did one album. It was good though.
I fucken love this band. I'm hoping to see them on their tour this year. Korey is absolutely one of the great artists of his generation
I was at this gig..was amazing.. great to see it again
Jason Omalley. So jealous. I was 8000 miles away at the time. I'd seen 'em a couple of times, but mates who were there said it was the best they'd seen.
Man where has this been? This is freaking awesome! Would have loved to seen them back then.
I will say Kory can write words!!! The Losers is pure poetry!
Christopher Moffett I agree, but The Losers was originally not just poetic, it was a beautiful tune too, now it's a dirge. Still heart-rending, but in a different way.
I was in prison in 1990 to 1995 in Colorado when I first heard The Losers it change my life. I'll be 55 on Monday Janaury 10
Oh my God thank you for posting God Bless this is sublime.
This is fucking amazing!!!

For some reason this music has switched off - i don't know know why
First ever proper rock band I saw live when they supported Metallica in 1990 at Birmingham NEC
Jesus Christ Corey you are a wholesome fucking dude
🇨🇦👽🎸👍🏼
Love the drug
(sorry I'm i bit pissed) I saw them many times including a 50p entrance fee that we had to argue about at Keel but to beat that they played at Greys Inn for free entrance.
i was lookin for some friends of mine
In the parlance of the day, fucking sick.
That’s not the original lead singer
That most certainly is Kory Clarke
Uh yeah it is he can actaully still sing here 😂
LOL like there could be a fake Kory Clarke
That is Kory. Short hair and a beard. Same dude.
