I need help! 34 year old with 2 kids, partner and a mortgage but im so tired to living pay to pay check working night shift making £25k yearly in the U.K
1. Sleep (change that first, don't do night job if you can't do it right away, then make a plan how to do it as soon as possible, you have to see the plan clearly in your mind, it's a visualization, your brain will then focus like a laser on seeing the opportunity) 2. Diet (try to eat the best you can, it's more important than you think now) 3. Movement (I don't know how good your condition is, but if you can't do it otherwise, take a walk for at least 30 minutes, then a run, if you can slowly, is completely enough, your brain will become more plastic and you will be better able to see the world and absorb new things) Note: I know that you probably move at work, but that's not enough, it's not a progressive pull-up, the body is already used to it, you have to keep moving.) It's not the direct help you'd probably like, but this can really change your whole life completely, first you have to feel good again, and with that comes the confidence to ground your reality and your thinking will change along the way. Sleep is in 1 place, remember that. After about a year of regular exercise, the amygdala in your brain will grow and you will be able to process stressful situations better. I tried everything on myself, and from the despair that I felt every day, I'm finally fine again.

Unfortunately I got to work on the night shift due to having to collect my 2 kids from school at 3 pm as my partner works day shift and if I put them in a Creche I would have to pay £400 a week. I have been looking for jobs for day shift but rarely find any that finishes before 3pm and also the pay is miserable.
