    При хорошем напоре отверстия в этой системе не смогут обеспечить быстрый сток воды в канализацию. Будет возникать подпор в трубе и подтопление в душевой. Можно обдумать идею с сеткой, типа сито, но это более трудоёмко.

    Unfortunately this is a bad idea. This applies to the US, but every drain in a plumbing system is required to have a p-trap. A p-trap, when properly installed, traps water in a dip which prevents sewer gasses from beingb able to enter. They can also prevent rodents and insects from entering from the sewer, although not always. A standard shower, as shown, is required to have at a minimum, 2 inch pipe and a 2 inch trap. Bathtubs can be piped and trapped with 1 1/2" pipe. The minimum 2 inch pipe is required to ensure that water is drained fast enough so that it does not overflow the shower enclosure whenthe shower is in operation. Placing anything inside the 2 inch pipe would drastically reduce the effectiveness of the drain and is going to cause draining issues. The pipe and fittings and pipe are installed to be as smooth as possible and not to have areas where grease, soap and hair can cling to, which is the cause of many plugged drains. The device that is being shown does exactly the opposite and creates so many places that these things are going to collect that it is completely useless. Do not place anything in your shower drain. The video shows at least a 3 inch drain pipe on a shower, which you will almost NEVER see. Additionally it is using a type of PVC that is not approved for plumbing systems in the US.
    If you are experiencing odors coming from you drains, there is a reason and there is a legitimate fix. The area that is most known for odors are floor drains and the reason is that in areas where water is not regularly introduced into the drain, the water in the traps can evaporate, which allows the sewer gasses to enter the home. Simply adding water to the drain will fix the problem. In other areas, if an odor is detected, it can be a result of the vents in the plumbing system being blocked, which prevents gasses from being released into the atmosphere and instead, being trapped in the pipes until enough pressure builds up that it force the gasses through the water in the traps and enters the home. There are several ways to remedy this and it depends on your individual system. The easiest way to fix this can be to use a hose and add water directly to the plumbing roof vent in an attempt to unclog the pipes. A consideration in doing this is that if a pipe has been broken in an attic space or wall, water can obviously cause damage, so inspecting the pipes in the attic space prior to trying this is highly recommended.
    The creativity of these of videos can be entertaining, but they are almost never the correct way to do things and will likely cause much bigger problems in the long run.
    Good luck with your plumbing projects!

      But I wonder why my floor drains don't drain fast enough when I empty the full tub (and the floor floods). The house was new and unused when i moved in. Both pipes have the same diameter (~3,5cm or 1,37 inches).

    It's a good idea considering that the contraption was able to prevent the cockroaches to get into the bathroom and made disposal of the hair etc more convenient. It may also help in deodorizing the bathroom with or without a p-trap installed.

    I have a question.
    Why do you put a rubber cover under the pipe?
    What is the role of rubber?

    • @tipsunknow
      @tipsunknow  Год назад +1

      Thank you for your positive feedback! The rubber cover or gasket under the pipe serves as a seal to prevent leaks and provide a secure connection. It helps create a watertight seal between the pipe and the fitting, ensuring that water doesn't escape or enter where it shouldn't. Do you have any more questions about plumbing or any other topics you'd like to explore further? I'm here to help! 🚰🔧🔍

    There is already something genius existing way before I was born for this problem... And all drains have that... or should have, I don't know why this one don't have one... It's called a siphon, and the barrier is made by water which avoid air coming from the sewage and collect everything falling down the drain.

    • @tipsunknow
      @tipsunknow  Год назад

      You're absolutely right! Siphons, commonly known as P-traps, are essential components in plumbing that create a water seal to prevent sewer gases and odors from entering the living space. They're typically found in sinks, bathtubs, and floor drains, among other fixtures. In the video, the person appears to be addressing a specific issue with a floor drain that might not have a conventional P-trap or an existing water barrier to prevent odors. While the DIY solutions presented in the video are creative, they might not be the most practical or code-compliant alternatives for addressing plumbing issues. Thanks for pointing out the importance of siphons in plumbing systems!

    Автор, у трубы есть пропускная способность, она не просто так имеет диаметр 50, 110, 160, 200 мм и т.д. Вставив этот хитромудрый фильтр, вы в разы снижаете пропускную способность канализации. Дальше как в школьной задачке: из душевой лейки втекает *** литров воды в час, в канализацию вытекает *** литров в час. Вопрос: как скоро в дверь начнут ломиться разъярённые соседи?

    This looks nice but I am concerned about the rubber tube pieces you have attached. Overtime that is going to decay, can any other material can be replaced? Something that is flexible yet not prone to decaying.

    • @tipsunknow
