Sad how his wife allowed such a great Company, (DEI) to crumble over jealousy and greed. I didn't root for him but I absolutely miss(ed) seeing him on the racetrack. His absence began the downfall of NASCAR. Nowadays I watch the races about half as often as before. Love Jr.s podcast shows, he has become a very successful and popular family man. Watch the episodes when he has family on. Very insightful, especially the interview with half brother Kerry. 👌
Jr didn’t win championships because Sr wasn’t there… but he got close twice, won a lot of races, 4 straight at Talladega, bested his father by winning 2 Daytona 500’s, retired and became a successful host of his own show and a wonderful father and husband. That is Sr’s greatest accomplishment.
I miss all these old school racers, not just Earnhardt, they all made NASCAR special and fun. Every one of them was unique and interesting. Today's drivers just aren't very interesting or relatable. Everyone man had to work his way up, there was no handouts or free rides! Blood, sweat and tears were the ticket to fame and fortune back then.
Who was Dale Earnhardt? He was the driver every fan aspired to be. If you saw the black number 3 in your rear view mirror you've lost your lunch. He wore his family and friends on his sleeves. He was the guy who made everyone earn his respect on the track every Saturday night in Bristol and Sunday afternoon at Daytona or Talladega. He won 7 titles and won everything there is in NASCAR. All of the crown jewel races in the sport and everything there is on four wheels.
The interview of Dale by Dick Bergren talking about the incident with Rudd 😂🤣 that’d be a good fight to see. The Intimidator vs The Rooster, especially at that time in the 80’s.
@@NickyD Jimmie Johnson?? Chad Kanus is the reason he won so much. They said Chad himself would find ways around the rules to make Jimmies car faster....Dale was by far the better race car driver

He won the Daytona the same year Elway won his first Super Bowl. Both very well deserved
Dale introduced me to nascar
A true NASCAR icon.
God bless you Dale. You are still missed and always will be.
The racing in heaven must be awesome. Tim, Davey, Neil, Alan, Adam, Steve, Tony and Dale. Much better than what we see today.
You think they get to race with Senna up there? I think so.
And with Bob Jenkins, Benny Parsons and Buddy Baker on the TV booth

No telling and Nascar won't be in this state like they are in right now.
He'd still be racing lol.
My favorite racecar driver i will never forget him a legend
Kept catching myself watching this with a huge smile on my face. Love these stories. When I get to heaven, Dale will be the second person I look for.
Youre in heaven that solid huh? lol
@@chocolatetownforever7537 well, there is still time to fuck that up lol

Today marks 20 years since we lost Dale Earnhardt. It doesn't seem like it.
Man I sure miss Dale. America needed him.
Watching this on October 2023!
Dale was and always will be my favorite driver.
That Black Lumina was such a sick looking car
The old Monte Carlo was pretty sick too.
The most charismatic race car driver ever.
One of best ever NASCAR drivers ever
He died helping his son's team win. The ultimate sacrifice. RiP
Don’t think so
That’s exactly what happened, his son was directly in front of him and he was blocking the cars behind.
Wasn't his sons team, it was Earnhardts team not Juniors

I never really cared about NASCAR after Dale died.
I cant believe its been twenty years.
If Dale goes for the win, Dale would be ALIVE TODAY.

Their will never be another true face of Nascar
Winston cup, Piston cup, now I get it
I honestly gave up watching nascar for a couple of decades after his accident, just wasn’t the same
Say what you will about Dale, but he still played by the rules.
And if he had no skill or talent, how'd he win 7 Seasons?

Nicky D Nothing wrong with what Dale did there.
We've seen the likes of Kyle Busch and Joey Logano do much worse.
Ain't nothing wrong with racing with damage lots of drivers did

Very aggressive driver, fearless. Not surprising he eventually would die in a crash. That is the truth sorry to say.
