  • In this episode of "Grime Time", Rudy takes you through what needs to be done to troubleshoot and replace the coil packs and spark plugs on his daily driver, a 2006 Porsche Cayenne S equipped with the 4.5L V8. While the job is fairly straight forward, Rudy takes you though how it's important to watch the wiring for the coil pack for cylinder #2. Specifically, without realizing it at first, Rudy shows how important it is to ensure the wiring for cylinder #2 is not affected by other passenger side engine strut. Not doing so can cause mis-firing on even brand new parts.

Thanks for sharing the hiccup you had with that bracket clamping down on the coil pack lead. Will save a heap of grief I’m sure. 👍
