Just came across your channel thanks to the You Tube algorithm. When I saw the name of the channel I was thinking sure, another "average" golfer who shoots under 80. I was pleasantly surprised to see someone who golfs a lot more like most of us mere mortals. Really enjoyed the video and look forward to watching a few more.
I played the Reunion Nicklaus course a few weeks ago when we were down there for vacation. I didn’t see another soul on the course. It was quite enjoyable!
Great video! Great scenery, commentary, shot tracing, etc. Several great tee shots. I would like to see some longer par 5s where you have to pull out a 3 wood, 5 wood, or hybrid (maybe on one of your other vids you do). SUBCRIBED and LIKED!
Thanks Dorris! It means a lot 😄 And me too honestly, it was just a shame that my only bad drives were on the par 5’s which forced me to lay up haha. Glad to have you here and plenty of videos coming very soon!
@@AverageJoeGolf your welcome , not broken the 100 yet, that’s the aim for end of the year, had 5 lessons now over the past 3 months so coming together slowly, just signed up on a monthly plan with the pro at my local so hopefully will be under 100 sooner rather than later 🤞
I think u could have taken relief on that shot with the bad lie right next to cart path...club length man made object? does anyone know if that is correct?
I believe I could only take relief if the path itself is directly affecting my shot, so if the ball was on the path or I was standing on it. I don’t think that thick rough by the path counts so it was just bad luck for me 😂
@@AverageJoeGolf U are correct. I looked it up and relief only if stance, lie, swing affected by manmade object.....It was cool watching avg golfer like me play a round
@@AverageJoeGolf - sorry; it sounded in the video that you said you hit your fifth shot over the green and then chipped to 2 feet - my mistake! I apologize for that.
@@AverageJoeGolf - I know what you mean; I thought that I had made a double bogey yesterday on 17 and my matchplay opponent brought it to my attention that I actually had a bogey 5 and we had halved the hole; I really appreciated his honesty, although I still lost the back nine and halved the 18-hole match.

It was surprisingly quiet when I played too however that may have been because I made the silly mistake of teeing off at 2pm. It was HOT! 🥵

It was my 3rd off the tee, 4th short of the green, 5th chip to 2 foot, 6th tap in. Double bogey. 👍
