Thank you for this message. In Acts 20:25, (right after Paul names his ministry, "the gospel of grace of God.") He mentions preaching the "kingdom of God." Does that refer to his gospel? Admittedly this is where it gets kind of difficult to teach because of what I'm about to say.. lol Matthew 11:12 KJV And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. We see from this verse that the "kingdom of heaven" is the literal physical kingdom that is supposed to be Israel reigning over the gentile nations headed by their messiah. Romans 14:17 KJV For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. The "kingdom of God" however is not a physical kingdom but rather a spiritual one. Which is why it was said to be within us. Luke 17:21 KJV Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. (The Holy Spirit eventually abiding in the believer). So the Spiritual kingdom would make sense for Paul to preach because we are his spiritual kingdom. Where it gets difficult is that the jews were being offered the spiritual and the literal physical kingdom.. so alot of the times in the Gospels the "kingdom of God" and the "kingdom of heaven" can be interchangeable because they would have came to the Jews around the same time had they accepted their messiah.. but after the rejection of Jesus and the stoning of Stephen it was strictly the spiritual Kingdom of God that was preached because the coming of the PHYSICAL kingdom was postponed until the fullness of the Gentiles. And somewhere in Romans it says he is a Jew who is one inwardly. Also I cannot see how heaven could be "physical" because 1Cor15:50 says flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. I also don't see how heaven could be a physical kingdom because all the elements will be burned with fervent heat (2Peter3:12&13)and God has made a new heaven and a new earth (Rev21:1). I say he HAS because since there's no timeline in God's mind therefore from HIS perspective it is already done. Rev21:6 says IT IS DONE. I believe the KINGdom of God is where God reigns (kings reign right) which encompasses all his new creation. And the kingdom of HEAVEN is partly described in Rev21:10 to 27 would you agree. This is another reason why I don't believe ANYONE goes straight to heaven after death. But they do go to be with the Lord. I believe heaven is after the judgment seat of Christ (2Cor5:10). Till then I believe we go to rest in the Lord in paradise. I don't see how the 2 separate names i.e kingdom of heaven & kingdom of God can be used interchangeably, but the mystery is that they are both part of each other just like God and Christ are 2 but at the same time one.
