We were using a feed that is cracked corn and beef supplement. In the spring we will switch over to feed that is very high with gluten content to finish them out.
John Deer sickle mower done a good job putting the hay down looked as if there were clover and fuse and timothy grass hay. How many acres are there in that hayfield and if it were your property turn it over and reseed it but it looks to be some nice hay.
Love the smell of a fresh cut field + the putt putt of an old John deere
Gota love the smell of fresh cut hay, and the sound of a johnny popper hooked to a sickle bar mower! Nice looking grass! Subscribed
Nothing sweeter than a JD 2cylinder and the clatter of a sicklebar mower, I think it's a # 5
That's true! He takes good care of his equipment.
Love the equipment! 👌

No problem. We should have more this summer.
Pretty cool to watch! I hope you get a lot of hay!
Thanks for the video I was wondering what mix do you use for your beef cattle thanks :)

roger wilson I'm going to soil sample everything this year to see what it needs. I think that small field is very low on lime.
now theres an oldy but a goody
That's right!!
I still hay like this.
Warren McKnight Good deal! This old stuff still gets the job done.
That's way I cut hay here in Greene Co. Lime will knock that broom sage out in a hurry.
That's what I've been told. I think I'm going to have co-op lime it.
That mowers doing a good job
Need to learn how to turn that thing!!
