Not only that, but my car got water in the engine--salt water--and $4000 later (the insurance actually paid) it was repaired. Don't even think about driving in a flooded area.

We just had a full moon a couple of days ago. But we must also keep in mind that the rich globalists (think: klaus schwab) behind the climate change agenda are probably secretly using haarp weather control technology based in alaska to push their new world order agenda. I believe that technology was stolen from nikola tesla upon his death. Also remember that the natural disaster relief fund is big business in certain circles.

In flood videos I see a lot of cars killed by people just going too fast in the water. Often they drive in slowly, then accelerate and suddenly the car dies. Most cars have their engine air intake just under the leading edge of the hood, my Jeep is no exception, it's right above the left headlight. If you are driving in water deep enough to make a bow wave over the bumper, and you go a bit faster, the water washes up over the headlights and is sucked into the engine. Mechanical calamity. If they had gone slowly the water wouldn't have reached the inlet. The water stops the engine because it can't be compressed much, that sudden stop causes massive damage, in most cases destroying the engine.

Up here in Canada, we cancel school buses when we have bad weather that could be dangerous to drive in for the safety of kids. In New York, even when they know the flooding is coming, they don't care, just send those school buses out there! The kids will swim their way home after it drops them off... That bus literally pushed a car with the waves it was sending, and then gets given a nice middle finger for waves he launches at others that are stuck outside their vehicle... And so many dumb people in New York. You can see so many high spots right next to flooded areas where cars can be safely parked, but no, try and drive in water a foot deep and hope the insurance company gets you a new ride

It’s salt water that is bad for electric cars.
Fresh, is not so bad if only submerged for a brief period.
Probably can go thru deeper water because no exhaust to get submerged and no air intake system.
But I think avoiding water deeper the. The height of the opening of your car door us a bad idea in general.
To see if it’s safe to cross, I drive slowly forward in my Ford Focus, open my drivers door, and as long as the puddle or slowly flowing water stays under the base of my opened door, I feel safe.
But if I even think water is gonna come in…..I stop and back out.
I think that’s a good rule of thumb in calmer conditions.

@@equarg electric cars have electric motors that drive the wheels. I'm not sure that it can be economically isolated from the water, and when the water gets into them, they're done, you just have to install new ones. In addition, all electric vehicles have computers that control the entire system, they are also sensitive to water. So I can assume that electric vehicles cannot go through water deeper than one foot or soo.
