Kite was great and to some it up, I think his style was more within the whole genre of popping, the crazy legs, upper body work and technical skills of being able to dance to the beat and doing power moves with them.
1°round: Bruce.
2°round: kite.
Tie break.
At 2:43, Kite's move was fluid and beautiful...he killed that beat!
Bruce is another league tbh. Mr game and watch title earned.
3:33 probably one of the best moves ever, untouchable.

Bruce defenitely took the first round but then Kite, knowing he had to get serious, went into Saiyan mode. That round was absolutely crazy!

i really like both dancers. They not only do really creative stuff and enjoy the music, but also showed respect to each other in the battle, not like some poppers nowadays always trying to be aggressive and do nothing but shit.
Both were dope but the reason Kite won is because Bruce's second round wasnt as strong as his first. Kite had 2 solid strong rounds, and thats why he won. Doesnt matter who did what in the past, in a battle its about the here and now and who throws down the hardest. Both gave it their all but Kite came out on top this time. Props to both dancers. :]

after rewatching the clip, i've come to a verdict.. I have to say that Bruce was great, with the whole gliding, sliding, great use of the stage area and excellent footwork, but he has a downfall... the main emphasis in below his hips... and if you look closer, he really only has a few upper body arm popping position... which makes them really repetitive after awhile.

He may have the best foot, but Kite has the best leg for sure. Also, Le Twins have similar skill in slides and moonwalk type moves.
Yes I have the les twins are amazing also but i didnt know about the les twins at the time. Yeah they have amazing foot work and so does the other popper green tek. Compared to bruce though I am not sure cause Bruce glides beautifully. So its a toss up between the les twins and Bruce.

that was a pretty nice battle ! .. i dont know but about them but im sure . a lot of people were waiting for this battle ! i was always expecting kite to put some new power moves . i was in my seat and i could feel the crowd from here haha fcking props !

Kite won in my opinion, but the level skill of the battle is so high, it would be ludicrous to split hairs...

MJ was in fact NOT ahead of his time, he was actually far behind many authentic street dancers in terms of skill and musicality.
He was however, lifetimes ahead in showmanship, performance, and overall entertainment value as the king of pop-artists.
