    Growing up eating LOADS of steamed shrimp with Old Bay seasoning. My Mom always swore she would NEVER buy the shrimp with the heads on because it grossed her out to look at them, and she would never be able to eat them again. She never did, and good Lord, I don't think I would be able to either. Old Bay with apple cider vinegar to steam!!! Awesome! Dipped in butter altering with cocktail sauce!!!😁💜💜💜🧈🧈💜💜💜😁

    Been a while since I last watched a video from you. Your kids are growing up fast. Or so it seems to me. I remember my own kids, sometimes fast, sometimes slow. Then sometimes they die. I am the one that lost a 32 year old son to this B.S. COVID Virus. Enjoy every minute with them. They are THE PURPOSE with we even have kids.

    When your hubby was young he built a lot of the barns etc on your farm, how about learning Wes, about building by making a car port in the corner next to your house, where you had the sheep when they were small, plenty of room and then you don’t have to worry when the bad weather comes along. Just a thought and everyone wins!

    The big rubber balls with chains and tyres on the outside are called ‘Yokohama fenders’ and are used to keep ships from other hard objects like piers, other ships etc. they float in the water and form ‘spacers’. They are very hard wearing pieces of kit.

I love it when you go to Aurora and the river. The shrimp looked really good. You're right. Just a little practice and you will be using the deveiner like a pro!

  • @grannyframmy
    @grannyframmy Год назад +1

    Meredith- the shrimp...easy to cleanby twisting...after the head is off (twit a li to the right and left then pull off) you do the same with the body ...grab like in the middle with both hands then twist in oposite direction a little now the armor breaks and you just slipp them off easy on both ends. then you use your de-veining tool by just running it across the top back of the whole body and the "intetine" come out. its just right under the top "skin". You get the hang of it fast, I promise :) The little legs sometimes still hang on so you just pluck them off easy. Its work but the texture of not precooked shrimp and taste is crazy good! Loved the video! God bless yall!
