Beautiful! I love watching this flight because it's exactly like the flights I had last year. You took the exact same line, encountered sink in the same spots, Although you didn't have the stress of the low save that I had. You were about 5,000 AGL over the spot where I almost dirted. On the Photon, it's much easier to do tip stalls with the outer B lines than trying to pull big ears with the outer A lines. It can be hard to descend on the photon, what I find works best is just to look for sink and turn in the sink. That's mostly because I hate "spirals", I get motion sickness if I pull any kind of g's in a sharp turn. You flew right over that field that's beside those red roof houses where Todd dirted it out last year. That area is where I got lost last year, had a low save thinking that I wasn't anywhere near Santa Elena, climbed back up to about seven k, as in continued heading to the east, flew right over the hotel, and kept going until I got to El Cerrito! Why did you land near the Red roof houses? Is that because the primary LZ by the hotel was overgrown? This seems pretty far away. Nice landing!
Thanks for posting!…. That was a very cool flight , Im glad that we got to fly together that day
That was the longest flight I have ever watched ! Awesome !
