The doctor was a real buzzkill. He didn't understand what Ron was trying to explain. How can you describe the acid experience other than words like incredible, and beautiful. They should have done the tests at night, in the country so test subjects could see the stars and walk around as they please. The darkness would definitely enhance the experience. They should have built a campfire to enjoy the heat and visual effects. I guess I mean a camping trip ( literally ) grandpa 's cabin at a remote Lake. The doctor's should have taken the same dose as well. Having junk food on hand like pizza, chips or even s'mores. Some good wine, soda, or even cold water and coffee. After the electric sunrise get into a darkened space and close there eyes and listen to tunes. Visuals, oh yeah. Laff until you cry . Out of body experience not uncommon. Acid is unsympathetic tho,so take care of business before hand. You will have a more enjoyable trip. Just like any other trip, you need to be prepared. Starting out with a empty stomach is a good idea so if you puke it won't be so bad. Smoking a bunch of weed is always good ( enhancer).don't fight the drug and let your self go . You may feel you are dying at first but remember you have to die before you can see heaven. Don't go it alone. Bring your best friends. Only people you totally trust. You can share your experience with them and talk your way through the rough spots. Dress warm enough. Bring a variety of music. Always remember that you aren't the man on the moon and not the first one to take the drug. If you want to come down take a cool shower and if you have it a pill like valium will help.
Dude this was to Test MR-17 out . They were trying to come out with Anti Psychotic meds to counteract psychedelic Drugs back then ….. because when people would have bad trips , there was no Antidote . Now there are many drugs that help with that . This was all a test on MR-17. Not a test to see how LSD affects you . ……

The power of suggestion is overwhelming on acid and people who are paranoid or schizoid will definitely have those traits amplified- especially if somebody is constantly telling you that you are having a bummer. Hallucinogens are what you make them and the only things you experience are the things you take with you-- I knew an old hippy in the80s who took a valium an hour before he dropped any hallucinogenic chemicals or shrooms because he was prone to panic disorder and anxiety attacks-- most "bad trips" I've seen were just anxiety attacks that had gone way off the rails. Never had any problems myself-- I love tripping. Period.
Ive ate lsd so many times well ive lost count but each and every time it is the one of the most profound experiences of my life still to this day. Ive been eating liquid acid since 1997
he would have been fine if he wasn't in that setting with those jerk doctors. just let him trip for a few hours give him the experimental medicine and see if it kills the trip, isn't that the point? why do all this other stuff and make him have a bad time?
I was tripping on acid one time as a teenager and started having a bad trip right in front of my mom. But not until she noticed something was up with me and asked what I was on.
I tried it as a teen, while at the sprint car races with my dad. I thought nothing was going to happen. It had been an hour or so and nothing. I went to the bathroom and bam 💥 that was the biggest stall ever. Felt like it took me 3 hours to get out of the stall. We went home and I was dying laughing. My mom was yelling at me while I was laughing and caused me to laugh more. Not a bad trip. But I suppose it could’ve turned bad if my mom would’ve figured out I was high af. Needless to say I never did it again and stopped seeing the guy I was dating at the time. I never did it again. I felt stoned on weed. I don’t like anything that causes loss of control. Your story me laugh and remember that night.
Q: ''How do you feel?'' A: ''Nervous and apprehensive'' Q: ''Yes, but if I was to ask you how you felt, what would you say?'' *wtf is wrong with this guy?*
Poor guy, OMG! Drug, set and setting. Dude would have been given the cleanest of clean LSD here, an absolutely beautiful experience - his first trip was clearly derailed by the unfamiliarity of what to expect from the staff and the stern questions. It would make anyone paranoid. Plus being stuck in a room with that bright light. Both times he should have been given pills, but one time a placebo, and not told how much LSD was in the glass.
LSD changed my life. I used to be a bad person for too long. LSD made me see we ARE ALL CONNECTED. From your body, to the grass, the trees, animals, everything is connected. We all share the same energy
You are Not alone in that thought , Many People have expressed the Same thing even way back in the 50’s when Doctors and Psychologists Where Doing these Controlled Studies !!! You can't throw all drugs under the same blanket, man. LSD research has not yielded any detrimental long-term effects with repeated use over long periods of time. Did they give him stimulants to counter the "psychosis"? He looked like he was tweaking pretty hard the second time.
Narcan for lsd. Let’s see how this goes
Why did everyone look at least 10 years older than their age back then?
I was thinking the same! Wild guess over here, but tobacco smoking was normal in homes, public areas and early ages aswell, at the time.
Its the haircut and clothes.
no hd back then
Smoking and drinking. Also more time outside.
..."during my time as a test subject or guinea pig as the phrase goes...,."
Hopefully, people have gotten better at registering when an individual is "in pain", really though.
I'm frightened that hasn't gotten much better, because we do still have this level of "programming" and any programming falls into the same area as all said condition, by definition.
...thank you for the post in any case, always appreciated.
Period.
23 min mark. Continuing study with Adrenachrome. Proof it's been going on a long time
@just_observing1 this. Im surprised noone else mentioned it...
This is why I had to stop doing hallucinogens. I got too much baggage and there is no luggage check on that train ride.
Ive ate lsd so many times well ive lost count but each and every time it is the one of the most profound experiences of my life still to this day. Ive been eating liquid acid since 1997
Straight?!?
Forget about the experiment that part in that doctor's hair is driving me crazy.
:-) :)
He’s so handsome
LSD: When your best friends are conspiring against you.. lol.
yeah, woulda been a LOT different & more positive if Ronnie was in a more chill area & situation.
ok at 23:10 he mentions "adrenachrome" so much for the conspiracies.
I feel bad for Ronnie, I hope he was ok after this
he would have been fine if he wasn't in that setting with those jerk doctors. just let him trip for a few hours give him the experimental medicine and see if it kills the trip, isn't that the point? why do all this other stuff and make him have a bad time?
He went to Guatemalan and enrolled in the Caribbean school of mamboliers.
@artcore103 that's our fine government for ya
7:08 is there anything you want to do right now
Yep F this interrogation call me a taxi I'm going home
IKR?
Gotta be in the right atmosphere. I prefer shrooms for ptsd treatment. I had results after one use.
Shrooms are the same as psilocybin? I have PTSD too. Very glad it worked out for you. And, any pharma 💊 to go with shrooms? Thank you!
Q: ''How do you feel?''
A: ''Nervous and apprehensive''
Q: ''Yes, but if I was to ask you how you felt, what would you say?''
*wtf is wrong with this guy?*
The smile on the two guys faces before they get to take it 😂
Poor guy, OMG!
I’m getting a small flash back from just watching this, i have not taken any in decades…..
Love the fact it has horror film music😅
propaganda af.
This guy interviewing would cause anyone to have a bad experience. His voice and manner no drugs stresses me TF out!
I often Wonder how Many People’s Brains They Totally Fried Just by Purposefully Overdosing To Find out the Drug’s Capabilities ??? We Never will know the Truth of that !!!???
Hey Ronnie, do you feel boxed in...is the box getting smaller...😉
So they literally scripted a “self written” note to read to the public to talk about how Paranoia and scared thoughts made it a terrible experience.
Yeah, they seem like a bunch of sleazy pyramid scheme snake oil sellers, and literally probably are (snake venom in pharmaceuticals, shots, American doublesnake medical logo (logos = god/higher self in Greek) too). Worse than snake venom, he listed adrenochrome as another hallucinatory drug they were experimenting with as well (@23:10).
I remember the “trails” and seeing patterns in things like wood grain, carpeting, curtains, etc.
If your in the right frame of mind and with people you can trust Acid or mushrooms are amazing but just make sure sure you are in that environment, the woods near a river in the winter when it’s frosty would idle 😊 I looked at frosty sparkling twigs for hours one time about 27 years ago 😂and we all loved it 😂 the man doing the interview certainly did not help this experience
You Didn’t Mention The Fact , several of you had to have 3 toes cut off and one person that only has a half of his left foot now , Due To Severe Frostbite , but What the Hell Eh !? You all had a Good Trip !!!
I took LSD in high school, i had that Who poster. The one that was a photo of the band standing there with their arms crossed. On LSD they all would lean forward out of the poster. Good times weeeee
23:00 continuing experiments on adrenochrome. 🤔🤔🤔🤔 this is from the 50's era!!!!?????
Good catch!
Damn dude really did just say that out in the open…. He’s probably a reptilian
Where do you buy MER-17 frenquel?
@Guerrero Stella thanks for the comment. You have now been reported to RUclips for spam and scams........
I've taken hundreds of "hits" of acid since the early 80s.. plenty of mushrooms too...loved it...great time..when done with right people...
I took lsd several times and also too Ritalin with it..snorted of course and it made it much easier to communicate what I was experiencing as opposed to doing it without taking methylphenidate..
at four minutes......and this looks like a bad experience. Why would someone design an interview to be so confrontational? A differently-configured interview setting and process would likely elicit a higher quality of response
Because the doctor starts off with a 666 hand sign at 1:53.. That should tell you everything right there\
@@mpix00 Omg, u really believe that crap?!
@@gazepskotzs4 what does it matter what I believe in? The only thing that matters is what you believe in and what you do with your beliefs in life
@@mpix00 yeah, you are right. It is just that the subject rubbs me the wrong way. No excuse i know.
this was during a time doctors were lobotomizing ppl
Ronnie is freaking out over that dudes incredibly huge head !😅😂😂😂😂
TELL THEM YOU WANT TO GO OUTSIDE AND LOOK AT SOME TREES.
Why was the clock showing various time? If you put each segment of time in chronological order, you would have a different story
If these guys want to know the effects why don’t they take some themselves? Then they wouldn’t have to ask any questions.
Oh, I’m sure they did. I would
never had a bad trip even when i saw hell as people rolling back and forth on red hot metal rollers like the hot dog set up at 7-11
These doctors don't understand how their words come out and the meaning that they have
My brother could drink beer like it was going out of style on Acid, he once drank 5 pitchers in about 20 minutes, and he was still thirsty. He had Schizophrenia, but he said he felt his best on Acid.
I drank 36 beers on a good trip once, I only weighed about 136 pounds at the time.
Whatever happened to grad student Ronnie? What is his full name?
His full name is Ronnie James Dio.
He built a drone with machine guns attached to it and attempted to kill the president.
I wish some one could give us an update as to what happened to these people.
“ Rainbow in the Daaawwwk “ ! 🎶
Some colors in that could been a nice touch
I think if anyone would have been unfortunate enough to take a trip with Dr Personality it would have put anyone on edge. 🤷♂️
Lol! Exactly.
I could tell who’s lying and who’s telling the truth about their experiences. Us who have been through this can identify, one guy just said if he was interrogated like this he’d go nuts. He has been through this. Ronnie is pretty good but I didn’t catch his dose. It’s not dissociative it’s heightened mental awareness at the same time if hallucinations so you have to know that you can control it, that it’s a passsing problem phase
It should been Doris Day or Miss Monroe asking the questions...
The guy giving the test is a bad trip man! I have tripped on acid at least 100 times? I would love to take some with him 😎
23:10 how tf did they get there hands on adrenochrome
Things that make you go hmmmm
Bruh...!
Jeffrey Epstein was basically farming it for the elites but i guess some one new is up for that job. How else do you think? they kidnap kids around the world and you know the rest.
I feel for these kids who trusted the adults conducting this advertisement for mer 17.
Its interesting how these days the medical profession is moving towards using lsd to effectively treat long term depression, with no negative side effects. Looking through history It seems humanity is very quick to use what is bad and not so quick to grasp what does us good.
Someone should have warned him not to take the brown acid.
He's mirroring the vibe of tweed jacket, he did so well holding it together. Get a better trip sitter next time brother n maybe go for a walk in nature, you'll have a blast ❤️🤩🤯😍🤩🤯😍❤️
7:10 He knew THE MAN was watching and were going to F him up.
He’s having a better trip the 2nd time for sure not a great one like a Floyd concert but better than interrogation
Doctors giving me a bad trip😫!
@4:16 approx.
Sounds more like he 'changed his story' from not wanting another, figurative or literal, beat down from the koppers rather than "paranoia". I personally have experienced similar.
So perfect when he sums it up in two words- Mass Confusion! As a former user, this is a place you don't want to be. Drugs may seem fun for a while, but they destroy your brain.
You can't throw all drugs under the same blanket, man. LSD research has not yielded any detrimental long-term effects with repeated use over long periods of time. Show us one peer-reviewed study within the last 30 years that shows long-term damage caused to any part of the human body solely through consumption of LSD.
I'm not denying that consuming *any drug can create lasting psychological changed within people - just maybe be more deliberate with your words, as there is a lot of fear-mongering and misinformation regarding psychedelics.
psychedelics cause new connections to form
@@mimszanadunstedt441 Very true! As someone that has used, these may very well be the connections you DO NOT want. Such as homicidal or suicidal thoughts. It's not worth it. I could be dead or in Prison. Don't let it be you. Best of luck.
@@firstnamelastname9955 LSD use in rare cases has been linked to schizophrenia in those with a family history or any other kind of predisposition to the disorder. In even rarer cases, however, it has been linked to similar outcomes in those with no predisposition or family history. These are VERY rare cases however but they have been documented.
Overall it is mostly harmless in smaller doses and with infrequent use. One trip probably isn't going to permanently screw your head up. In fact, recent studies have shown the potential for LSD, among other psychs like Psylocibin, to help with addiction and depression, as well as some other mental health conditions. There is good and bad in all drugs but unfortunately the war on drugs has crippled the ability for scientists to research the good that can be extracted from many of them. I'm just glad times are changing.
LSD really can cause long term mental trauma to some individuals. Like many things in life, the risk is there. Some people can get by fine, but others pay a price.
If Ronnie still alive today he’s probably in his late 80’s or 90’s
What Ronnie's Full Name In 1954?
What's ronnie's last name?
Was ronnie the blond?
