  • New Zealand's greatest singer John Rowles had just turned 21 when he recorded this magnificent song with Mike Leander in London, released as the b-side on the follow-up single M'Lady to his recent global smash hit If I Only Had Time. Artists from Elvis to the Beatles to Tom Jones stood up and took note of the handsome young man from New Zealand, his incredible voice and stage presence poised to take the world by storm. This rare appearance from a 1968 European TV show is breathtaking

The greatest voice I have ever heard. His fame should have been in the stratosphere......deep sigh!...... He wasted his time, youth, and God given mega talent singing in nightclubs in Hawaii.
