I just found your floss tube and enjoyed seeing all your beautiful 🤩 stitching everything looks amazing 🤩. Have a wonderful week and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Great first flosstube, you were so organized, and have lovely project, and hefty goals. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cross stitch art. Subscribed and will watch the second video soon. Peg 💛
Really enjoyed your first floss tube! You have a lot of beautiful projects going. I will be watching your next floss tube tomorrow to see the finishes.
Fabulous job on your first floss tube. You did such a great job and great job editing. You have a lovely voice that I can listen to for hours. I loved seeing the pieces you are working on and can't with to see #2!
Hi Becca! I really, really 😅 really loved your video, congratulations. You are such a happy soul, keep it always like that, it’s a pleasure to watch. I am 46 and love every “grandma” hobby. Happy stitching ❤😘😘
Welcome to flosstube...enjoyed seeing your projects! I like that u work kits as well as full coverage and other designs. I'm working on lit by artsy housewife- the second I saw it came out I couldn't buy it fast enough 😂. Then when I saw within a dream, I was about to join her patreon just for the chart but I'm more of a hard copy type girl so I'm making myself hold out until market. But I will be starting it as soon as it's released 😂. The way I'm counting down the days u would think I had nothing else to stitch on! 😜 I used to be a monogamous stitcher, but ever since I started watching flosstube and really getting involved in the stitchy community I amassed a LOT of patterns and realized I'd never get to display these finishes if they were never started! So now I'm up to about 15 or so wips and I'm capping myself at 25. Who knows I may change my rules! Happy stitching!🐈⬛🪡❤️
Artsy Housewife is so talented! I think SO many of us were monogamous before FlossTube 😂😂 I’m also giving myself some more leeway this year and capping myself at 25!!
Thank you for your lovely video! I loved all your projects, especially Mira and that SAL. Looking forward to seeing more of it and more of your videos in the future (vlogs are the best for me too btw😂)
OMG, I finally got the time to watch this! Your first video is amazing, like you're doing this for years! I really enjoyed and subbed right away 💜 Now going to binge watch the other two! 😍 Have a nice Sunday Becca!
Great first video! I knew when I saw the Iliad on your bookshelf that I had to subscribe. I totally understand the apprehension about making and posting. I made some a few years ago but when my video popped up on my personal page as “something I might enjoy” it totally spooked me. I really enjoyed your video though so I hope you keep making them!
Congrats on your first flosstube video! Getting started with anything is always the hard part. You had some "I need this" patterns for me and I can't wait to see what else you pick up to stitch!
Great projects! Every single thing I've made fun of old people for doing I now embrace. Period dramas. Cross stitch. Collecting pretty china. Birdwatching. I'm 43, but also 90.
There's something in us that clicks into place when we turn 50 that makes a woman say, "Oh, look. Birds." Suddenly we get very interested in birds. And the weather. I became my grandmother when I turned 50. 😅
Welcome to Flosstube! I so enjoyed your wip parade! I’m getting a little overwhelmed with my wips. I don’t even have many started as others do, but I’m trying to find a system that will allow me to get some really good progress on them. I also like other hobbies, one of which is crochet and I have just started another afghan pattern, so I’d like to try and touch both hobbies each day. Wish the days were longer! 😉 ☀️ 🛎️ ❤
It’s so hard to find a balance with number of WIPs! I think categorizing them as NEEDS progress and not a priority is kind of helping me with balancing the WIPs I already have and wanting to start ALL of the beautiful patterns that are out there. SO wish the days were longer!
Welcome to Flosstube! Love your projects😍The Winter Queen looks stunning on the green fabric and the flower pieces by Luca-S and Merejka are also very pretty
Well done Becca. You speak clearly and have a well paced flow. I am looking forward to more videos. I hope you enjoy making the videos as much as I enjoy making mine. 🦉🧵🪡👍
Loved your first video and enjoyed all your projects! You are very talented and your love of stitching shows up and engendered enthusiasm on my end!! Thank you for inviting all of us into your home and please keep sharing!!
Watching this was such a treat! Awesome first video and I love seeing all of your WIPs -- you and I definitely love to stitch similar things. LOVE LOVE LOVE the farewell to Rivendell pattern. That is HEROIC work! Looking forward to the next video :)
Hi Becca. I have just subscribed. I live near Vancouver BC and I started doing cross stitch in the mid 1990s. Around 2015 I learned how to quilt. The cross stitching was sporadic after that. But in summer 2024 I got some stitching mojo back and I am having fun with both hobbies. Edited to add - I have Winter Queen ( converted to lilac purple ) as WIP. Started around 2002. Your WQ is coming along beautifully.
Congratulations for hitting it out of the park with your first video! I love seeing the photos along with all the beautiful projects. Looking forward to your next video❣️
You had me at “anything that will keep me at home”! Perfectly said. I’m so happy I found you and it’s the beginning of your Flosstube journey. You have some stunning projects and it’s going to be so fun to watch you make progress and get finishes this year! Lovin’ your vibe ✨ thank you for sharing your passions!
Really (really) love your Flosstube…you did a great job about explaining your patterns, fabrics, floss and stitching methods. I am here for all the floss related things. Maybe in the future add a little excerpt at the end about what you are quilting or knitting. I am definitely subscribing to your channel.
Awesome job!! Loved your projects and saying you are a finisher. I have a hard time understanding why people wouldn’t care about finishing, lol. But everyone can enjoy their hobby the way they want to. Way to go stitching all those stockings. Can’t wait to see the other kits you chose. I’m on my 5th dimensions stocking. Looking forward to a finish video.
Thank you! Agreed haha not for me but I’ll gladly sit here and watch a video about their 50 full coverages haha. The stockings are definitely a challenge, I just got all of them in the mail this week so I’ll definitely be showing them in my next video ❤️
I probably gave you whiplash with those stockings! My dad is Jewish and my mom is Christian, so we celebrate all the holidays! I don’t usually stitch much Christmas, but I do love a winter scene and I plan on working Judaica stitching in this year! I’ve been meaning to make my dad a matzo cover for Passover. I hope the Christmas doesn’t put you off too much! Thanks for watching either way 💕
Loved your 1st flosstube! I am in Virginia Beach! Have you ever been to Upcycle Creative Reuse Center off of Eisenhower in Alexandria? I ❤ it, I got unopened aida material & hoops and my daughter got paintbrushes and some other art things. It took me a minute to find because it's in a warehouse area, but worth stopping by next time you're up there. They have a social media presence, look them up. There is a lack of stitchy groups down here, as well. Take care!
I grew up in northern Virginia and lived in Fredericksburg for 2020! Like a voice from home in Stitches is my favorite store on the east coast but I don’t get to go often. It’s a long drive from New England!
Really happy I found your channel we do a lot of the same type of things. I do have a question though you mentioned you don’t use weeks die works and I’ve heard other flaws tuber say that. I was wondering why? Anyway I subscribed I rang the bell I left a comment and I hit the like

It’s definitely interesting how we all take this hobby and do so many different things with it! I’m a little jealous of people who can do all that and NOT get overwhelmed. I definitely understand the feeling guilty, sometimes it’s hard to justify spending so much money on yourself

Welcome to FlossTube! I enjoyed seeing your projects. I also live in Virginia but further south (by Lexington).
Thank you! Woohoo, we love another Virginian 💕
Great first Floss Tube. I look forward to more.
Great first flosstube! I love that you do the full coverage and very large projects. It’s not something I see myself doing but do love to see others.
That’s how I feel about smalls and antique samplers! I don’t necessarily want to stitch them but I love to watch other people do it 💕
I enjoyed your first video, I was looking for someone who also loves Mirabilia. Great job!
Thank you! I’m hoping to get more work done on my Mirabilia’s this year 💕💕
Great first episode. Loved seeing all your projects.
Thanks so much!
It was so nice to come across your flosstube! I am in the Fredericksburg area!
Thats awesome, neighbor!!
Great first video! I knew when I saw the Iliad on your bookshelf that I had to subscribe. I totally understand the apprehension about making and posting. Thank you! It’s the Emily Wilson translation I’ve been dying to pick up! So many hobbies so little time haha
@ I just bought that one for the holidays. I’ve already listened to the audiobook of the Odyssey and loved it. 😁
Congrats on your first flosstube video! Getting started with anything is always the hard part. You had some "I need this" patterns for me and I can't wait to see what else you pick up to stitch!
Also happy to enable others haha 💕💕 thank you for watching!!
Great projects! Every single thing I've made fun of old people for doing I now embrace. Period dramas. Cross stitch. Collecting pretty china. Birdwatching. I'm 43, but also 90.
I feel that! Give me ALL the granny hobbies
There's something in us that clicks into place when we turn 50 that makes a woman say, "Oh, look. Birds." Suddenly we get very interested in birds. And the weather. I became my grandmother when I turned 50. 😅
@@TheNutmegStitcherI was like that at 25 😂
Great first video! Your projects are lovely!
Thank you so much ❤️💕
Hey just stumbled by your channel on a rabbit hole haha. I just love your WIPs.
I love a RUclips rabbit hole! Thanks for watching!
“Oh, look, that’s you and me in bird form.” Gotta love that!

You got me hooked the second I saw your menorah. Hope I see some Judaica stitches. It will be a nice change not to see Christmas stitching
I probably gave you whiplash with those stockings! My dad is Jewish and my mom is Christian, so we celebrate all the holidays! Great first video!! I enjoyed seeing all of your WIPs!
Thank you 💕💕
I grew up in northern Virginia and lived in Fredericksburg for 2020! Like a voice from home in Stitches is my favorite store on the east coast but I don’t get to go often. It’s a long drive from New England!
It’s SUCH a good store, I don’t go nearly often enough
That was fun - thanks for sharing!
Thank you!!
Love your projects n progress
Thank you!!
Great first video! I am also doing the Secret Grove SAL💕
Thank you!! I just watched your video! Yours is coming along great! I love the bright purple fabric 💕
@ thanks! I’m behind again and hope to work on it some more this weekend🦉
Really happy I found your channel we do a lot of the same type of things. I do have a question though you mentioned you don’t use weeks die works and I’ve heard other flaws tuber say that. I was wondering why? Anyway I subscribed I rang the bell I left a comment and I hit the like
From what I can tell (and reasons I don’t) there are 2 main reasons, 1. A lot of people just don’t like it 2. A lot of us have a problem with the fact that one of their colorways is confederate grey
Thanks for watching!
@ OK thank you for that. I always wondered why. And I can totally understand.
I so agree with you about not wanting to invest 1000$ into cloth and floss just sitting in project bags, I don't understand how some stitchers can afford to start 30,40 and even 50 new starts every year, the cost can really add up, I feel guilty to spend so much money on a craft
It’s definitely interesting how we all take this hobby and do so many different things with it! I’m a little jealous of people who can do all that and NOT get overwhelmed. I definitely understand the feeling guilty, sometimes it’s hard to justify spending so much money on yourself
Well, I made my comment before I saw you were making Christmas stockings
Hi Becca I saw picture in your thumb nail of lady in green is this the Winter Queen? Could you tell who the artists is I keep forgetting. I have that piece and Autumn and fairy on unicorn in my wish list but like you don't want to many kits open at once so far keeping my WIPS to 8. I had almost finished my fellowship of the ring WIP and working on my Dragon for Chinese new year before the year of the snake starts but I wanted to join the Cross Stitch the globe Princess SAL so started Belle by NeniSweetsPatterns.
Of course! The one that is completed is Woodland Enchantress, it’s a Dimensions gold kit and is readily available. The art on both that one and autumn fairy is by Ruth Sanderson. Keeping your WIP count down can be SO hard!
Good flosstube, but i have to wonder why you don't use or like Week's?
Thank you! And for me it’s because I fine it unacceptable and unnecessary that they have a colorway called Confederate grey. A lot of people just don’t like the floss and there’s SO many other fabulous floss dyers out there I’d rather use
Loved your projects, but fold your projects with the the stitched side in and the wrong side facing out
