Have you noticed alot of bands now covering TW songs. A sign of things to come.
Without a doubt, there is new music coming from The Warning.
Pau mention in an interview with Allison Hegendorf that creating music in the studio is “like having babies”. She was hesitant to use that phrase, but everyone agreed that it’s the perfect metaphor for the process. Thanks Strongdad!
Muse did not just ask them to open for them in the UK, Matt Bellamy actually went to them and personally asked them before even going through their management.
The way Dany tells the story is great!
09:15 "Usually Pau starts on the piano because she's a drummer"
What Alejandra meant is that Paulina can't create a melody with chords and all that stuff with the drums. With the piano you can even try different notes for the voice.
Alejandra and Daniela are able to do these things with their guitar and bass, but Paulina uses the piano because drums are instruments for rythm, not melody.
This was the interview where Pau spilled the beans on the new material coming. We all assumed it was coming but this confirmed it. Interpreting what Ale meant by Pau starts on the piano -(because she plays drums and that isn't usually an instrument that lends itself to composing a song so since pau also plays piano, that is the instrument she uses). But Ale communicated all that in many fewer words. LOL
I don't know much about music, just what I like. I'm going to guest that it is hard to hit musical notes and compose something on the drums. Just a quick search says that pianos can hit 80- notes, I'm guessing that better than a set of drums.
🤞for new music
Soon!!
Please remember. Pau has stated back awhile (before being signed) she has around 500 riffs (piano) on her phone.
Dany also stated on one of her recent Dany Day videos they have new music coming *SOON.*
Also The Warning has said after The Mayday Tour. They went to Nashville (before Christmas) for some writing sessions with Halestorm.
Also remember *Mayday / Error* was written in 2019. Recorded in 2021. Was fully released in 2022.
So *NEW MUSIC* will be coming real *SOON* called *SOON* or something else.
I love hearing Ale talk. She's so quiet most of the time, but she has started to come out of her shell it seems over the last year-ish.
My favorite part is when someone off camera reminding Ale to smile.
I think we all suspected that there would be new music coming at some point but just didn't know when, until this interview.
On another note, I'd love to be able to interview The Warning at some point in the future. I have a number of questions in mind for them already. I do believe that there is such thing as a dumb question, butI view that as a question that no one ever asks and/or a question with wrong information. The philosophy I like is "Does this question need to be asked?" and "Does this question have to be asked by me?"
Currently, I'm a sports journalist (motorsports), so hopefully one day they perform a pre or post-race concert at a track I'm covering a race at.
Cool intro, Papá fuerte! We are all crossing our fingers for new music soon, and it's not surprising they have it. I recall a video of Pau asking Ale during a soundcheck to replay some riff she liked, she even recorded it. So I guess they are constantly working in new material. And in the interview with Allison they mentioned several writing sessions with collaborators. More is just the first of those songs, I believe.
Love them girls❤❤❤
I'm baffled by some people being put off by the sound evolution displayed in 'More'. If you go back to their start, their sound has continually evolved. Where does the expectation that their style will become static come from?
😁👍⚡️
The Warning are ready to record their next album?
A veces las cosas obvias son las más difíciles de ver
Oh no, here comes the rabbit hole again
Cuando todo apunta a que por fin alguien te viene a rescatar
Te encuentras nuevamente abandonado
Ale's logic is impeccable, as usual.
Very good interview and your comments are very entertaining.
Thanks for sharing.
🤘😁✌️
We Need MORE Warnings From The WARNING
New stuff... Can't wait. Every tone i still alive, to hear, i'm ready for... I for one, loved MORE. Sure want Rock 'n' Roll (old headbanger).. but i KNOW, anything these 3 girls do, will be awesome. And i pretty sure, they also got some more rock to deliver!
All thier songs leave you wanting more . . Im excited about this band . . Best thing in rock for years imo . . The problem with opening for others is you dont get full production . . They get say maybe 6 chanels . On thier own tour its full on . .. Love yr reactions . . Keep em coming ...
The usage of rift caught Pau on the wrong foot. Technically a rift is when something has been separated / divided - no going back. Here the interviewer used it for disagreement which confused Pau.
Hopefully they will record in the break from Sept. to Oct. After listening to this interview back in June I had hoped for the July - August hiatus. However the girls announced their 2nd part of North American tour soon after. So this break is gone. Next one is in mid Sept.
⚡️⚡️⚡️
YES 🙌 👍
Pau starts writing on the piano because if she started writing on the drums, it would be weird.
They have publicly stated on at least a couple of occasions that they have had enough material written for 4-5 albums.
Whether they chose to use it or write new songs is the real question.
Of course their gonna release “new” music but some of it actually may be a couple years or more old to them and some may come from recent collaborations.
I think this was the festival that Dany went to another stage somewhere to sing Painkiller with TDG.
"It Is Written"...where ever they write it upon...It's like some white long haired biblical figure coming down the mountain with "tablets"🤪 I BRING YOU NEW MUSIC!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!🤘❤🤟❤
🤣😂♬🎶 *The 10 measures have been delivered!*
I can’t wait until they make a new record because it will impact the next phase of their career..
💪😎
good response as always. i love the waring and i think pau is one of the creachtve women i know. This is unfortunately my second comment on your channel I think but in the first I commented on you as you made a gitariist cover to look at Tina S. You even wrote me back that you have this on your list I'm still waiting.
You are a amazing fan and advocate for the warning. I personally am not sure if "more" is the direction of the band. Sometimes I would like a jam. The seem to be so programmed with tracks.
Drums don't have chords Strongdad, so Pau has to get down on the keys to write a melody. 😄 Very logical.
You know.. Dany has sung with 3DG, Arjay Hale has filled in on drums for Pau; I think it would be amazing if Muse asked Ale to play bass for them on Hysteria!!😍 That would make Ale's day/week/month/year!😄 Good to hear there's new music in the works. Can't wait to hear it!!😉 🤘😎🤘
Sadly it didn't happen (Ale playing with Muse) so they'll just have to be happy having opened for them nine (9!!!) times.
@@NoSmokingDogs Hey.. I'm sure there may be future possibilities! 😉
I'm still surprised fans are so worried about the future sound of The Warning, haven't we all learned to trust these ladies' musical senses? And I may be wrong on this, but for the song More I think it is the vocals on the studio version that make it sound "pop" (although I'd call it contemporary - this is how rock sounds in 2023, different than pop that plays the same 4 chords nowadays). If a doubter were to listen to More without any vocals that listener would be hard pressed to call it pop.
"Cognizant" Strongdad. 😃. Having knowledge of or being aware.
The family (well two of the family anyway) riffed about the family rift of which there is none, imo. Just the typical disagreements and DPA have talked about how yes they each have strong opinions but they stress communication.
New music? So as it is written, so let it be done. Soon!🤘
"More" is the first Warning song I don't care for. I hope they don't abandon Rock and Roll.
Yes, I am that stick in the mud, why would you leave the formula that rocketed you to the top?
I think this is where her back hurt( Dany)
You have been Warned by Gym Rock Crew 🎉
This is Pau's Valley Girl interview. lol. One of the sticks reporting for duty. 😉
It’s PAU level headed yet?
I don’t think it’s a direction they are going ..I love the song “more”…but they are rockers by nature..but they don’t disappoint
Pau no deja hablar a Ale ,pero siempre a sido asi
Alejandra no quiere hablar, es distinto. Ella misma lo ha dicho, en las entrevistas deja que sus hermanas hablen lo más posible para así poder evitar preguntas.
Mr. Strongdad, can you review Angelina Jordan with the song "I say"? thank you!
this wont be popular, however, The Warning needs to get new material out or they will get steamrolled by other bands coming out. They have worked too hard building a worldwide fanbase with this last tour now they need that new album to launch them to the next level.
What they need is a breakthrough song to get to the mainstream, and when that happens, they won't be a "one hit wonder" band...
@@JorgeEM1995 you are exactly right - it takes just *one* song, then they become a household name. The fun part for TWA will be when everyone starts diving into The Warning's back catalog and goes thru the usual "where did they come from? where have i been?" process....
What happened with you and The Warning? Alot has happened since your last reaction!!
