DS2 hype! Completing the highway in DS1 was a very rewarding experience, considering I had a ton of help from fellow porters. It’s still one of only 5 games I’ve platinum.
Isla, Sonic Generations is pretty beloved amongst Sonic fans! As for the DLC Damiani is talking about, there was some very lame Casino Night DLC that was literally just pinball, not a proper level
I saw Stellar Blade getting every comparison BUT NiER Automata. I'll be honest, my first... glance 👀... at NiER is what kept me away and it eventually became my favorite game of all time. Stellar looks and sounds 200% like NiER and I will take it! Very excited if not just for a game that's essentially a playable soundtrack.
Damiani's reaction to DS2 is spot on. Bonkers. Gotta say of everything shown, Dragon's Dogma 2 duuuuuuude was the game that really got me. Bring on March.
I'm surprised by how positive they are when talking about SH2. The visuals and animations are still pretty rough, but even aside from that they way they sohw off action combat or how they still throw a bunch of messages in the levels to let you know that "james is a bad guy guys get it?" I still don't really get why it's so hyped up in general. Unless it's all just people who have never played the original and just want visuals and action.
Weird that you think it may be new gamers hyping it up with no history of the franchise when the common convention is typically the nostalgia of old time fans that drives the hype.

Or games like FF7R is very mixed among fans, while newcomers like it a lot. But with SH2 i get the feeling a lot of people know about SH or how many people think SH2 is a masterpiece and now want to jump in, especially after P.T. also pushed SH interest again.
The consensus on Generations was pretty positive when it came out but has soured over time, at least that's my impression. I think it doesn't help that the next big anniversary game was Mania, which was just better in every way.

They're weird as fuck sometimes, but the gameplay and entertainment factor delivers. Also, they tell compelling stories with coherent themes. Death Stranding is a super unique and interesting game, MGSV is a masterpiece from a gameplay perspective. He is glazed on because he is doing something nobody else is doing and doing it extremely well.

Stellar blade seems to be disappointing. The highlights they choose to give us - You can get side quests. - You can buy items - You can upgrade your weapon. - There is a skill tree. - You can level up. They are really going after Nier Automata. But Nier have outstanding narrative and story.

Also the game is not even out to know if the story is better or worse or equal to Nier Automata. Ppl see female anime character in a postapocaliptic world and say it copied Nier Automata. Beside some small similarities Stellar Blade looks nothing like Nier Automata. Even combat wise look different.
I mean, Xbox isn't known for great 1st party games. Even if Sony doesn't come up with anything good this year, Microsoft still probably won't do better.
