This is why I feel the fifth and final stages were really hard to understand in a way: supposedly Keisuke and Takumi are better, but we don't see any proof of that. Instead we get a scene which heavily lauds Ryosuke's control and calmness, which makes it much harder to see how he's been surpassed by Keisuke and Takumi. If they really wanted to convey how much better they were, they should have made one of them race Ryosuke for whatever reason (to be honest, I feel like that wouldn't make a lot of sense either, but that's something the writers should have realised earlier), but now it's hard to not see them as better than Ryosuke
This was the best race in the Fifth stage . Most races in fifth stage were boring because u know they will win it with one way or another . Keisuke's race were intresting cuz we got to see him improve like how takumi improved in 4th stage , but takumi's race were boring due to all the weird plot Armour and that fujiwara zone teleporting. This race was different because the stakes were high and u don't know who wil end up down the ravine
For realll. They finally manage to make the cars animation in 3d to be on point with the 2d anime style. I wish they would continue another season or Ova so we can enjoy more of this amazing arts.

It's just a fun matchup or what if versions of Initial D, and it's called Dream Stage because it didn't actually happen, but just there as a fan service for the Initial D fans.
This is not assetto corsa with faulty collision physics :) Backlift is not a real occurence. In reality dirt and grass act as a really dense liquid that slows down the rear of the car, wich makes the car essentially understeer. Also, the rear bumper would just deform to take the impact, instead of transferring that energy into the frame of the car... (I hope i didnt misunderstand the word "backlift" in your comment somehow)

I don't have the disc version so I have to edit the audio manually to remove dialogue. I only commented that I couldn't remove the music because I think that there's not much else for me to do to it. (most of my clips are edited to an extent)
I don't know if it was a rendering error or intentional but I've just now realized that there are grooves on the FC and Z but the 32's tire's look like slicks.
I personally don't like this scene because it didn't fit the rest of the show as well as his character. I like that the show is "realistic" in a sense but that move would have done a multitude of things beside absolutely fuck up his suspension. He could never maintain his lead going on such rough terrain. He should have lost balance and spun out, but we could let that slide and assume he is a driving god. This is my only peeve about the entire race. Other than that they can drive their heart out. I wish they told more of the woman's story, it could have been interesting to know more.
