Never start over, if you think like that then it means you think you’ve already failed, just continue on. It’s a life style change not a temporary thing. And my mom and friend have done intermittent fasting and it works very well. Eat lunch at lunch time and eat dinner anytime before or at 7 try not to eat after that, also watch your portion and should be fine. Hope that helps 😊

I think the gist is that you eat for 8 hours of the day and fast for 16. So you can choose to eat from 8am-4pm or a different time as long as it’s just 8 hours. One of my friends does the keto diet and it’s helped her lose a lot of weight. I feel like you might like it!
Hey Candi, Just a couple things I have learned so far that i thought might be helpful. You have to train your body to like other foods. Your body is so used to eating the bad food, of course it’s not gonna crave healthy food. Slowly ease into eating better. Sometimes doing it all at once can be overwhelming and cause more failures. In my opinion the intermittent fasting is not sustainable for long term. I’m sure at first you will see results but as soon as you decide to stop the fasting and add in your regular other meal your body will be confused and store every bit of the extra food because they are not used to metabolizing the extra nutrients. In my opinion eating a well balanced diet is the best way to lose weight and maintain a healthier life style. Fasting is not a lifestyle. If you stay consistent your body will begin to enjoy and crave healthier foods. Wishing you all the best!

We have a career day at school where we go to different rooms and people talk about their jobs. I went to the nutritionist room and I was talking to her about fasting. She said it isn’t good because your keeping yourself from eating and then when you eat around 1 or whenever; your so hungry you tend to over eat. So when doing that your basically eating more then you are with 3 regular meals
In Michigan it's illegal to sit in the back seat without a seatbelt if you are under 17. I'm sure you know this I just wish you would enforce it more. I would hate for something bad to happen.
I’ve brought this up to Candi so many times and she responded once saying they don’t listen to her 😒. She’s the parent she needs to make them listen. My Mom wouldn’t drive off until everyone had their seatbelt on no matter our age and it didn’t matter if they weren’t her kids either we all had to wear them.

Hey Candi! I am fasting because it’s Ramadan! So when u fast u eat at sunset at night then u can eat up until around 4:30am so u have around 8:45pm to 4:30am to eat then u cant before 8:45pm and after 4:30am. We do this for about 30 days!
BJ’s is one of my favorite restaurants it is very good! Their food is amazing and so are their pizookies. It is basically a giant warm cookie with ice cream 😋

I Feel your pain re food. I think I am an emotional eater . I love all the wrong stuff. Good luck. I went down 8 sizes by eating what I wanted without feeling guilty BUT I only ate it occasionally by trying to be more healthy. I also only eat until i feel full. I don’t have guilt over not eating all on my plate.
When it comes eating healthy I think you should try making the fast foods you crave but with healthier ingredients. Like 96/4 ground beef and whole wheat tortillas instead of what you usually get. Im doing intermittent fasting right now i've only been doing it for a week but I lost 8 pounds. so what I do is I eat for one hour a day so most days I eat from 6pm to 7pm and the first days I was really hungry in the early day but now i'm used to it.

Candi, look into weight watchers. You can still eat those goodies and foods you like. You can eat whatever you want in fact. It teaches you how eat what you love and what you want, how to make those right choices. It teaches you portion control, too. You don't have to go to meeting. There is an app you can get on your phone. It keeps track of your food, activities, weight loss and there is a way to connect to other people doing it so you can get inspiration. Your making a lifestyle change and however you choose to eat, you gotta do it for the rest of your life.
Drinking soda is one of the worst things to drink when you are loosing weight. My nutritionist says don’t drink your calories. So if I want caffeine I make a green tea unsweetened. And then when I’m craving sugar I eat fruit instead of ice cream and what not. Also fasting isn’t good because for one you are starving yourself which yes can make you loose weight but you’ll end up gaining it back right because your body will be in starvation mode basically. I highly recommend seeing a nutritionist because they’ll be able to guide you during your weight loss and give you advice on exercise also.
I tried fasting and honestly would not do it again. Its not sustainable. I ended up just eating bigger portions when i did eat, it's much harder than just eating healthier overall

Parvo is so awful me and my family lost 2 dogs to parvo and to puppies almost lost but we nursed them day n an out for like 2 weeks with cottage cheese n pedialyte it was the most heart braking thing to watch them suffer

I’m FASTING currently but it’s for religion not diet. I eat at sunrise so at 3.30AM! Then fast up to sunset which is 9pm in the U.K. currently
