Huskii blew up after he did a few songs with Chillinit, they have been long time mates that I think have since grown apart Huski kept going to prison and getting into trouble with the police, had too many issues I think to be able to take music as serious as he could, which is why he mentions not being played on the mainstream, he himself wont take deals with companies like Sony or warner, so it stunted his rise to fame, unlike Chillinit who embraced it and made plenty of radio songs as well as ones similar to this, the more emotional side. Huski says some things that make it hard to be 'radio friendly' which is what most record labels in australia would be after. radio plays and top 100s on radios means a lot here as we have such a small industry as it is, overwash it with american, euro artists and you have 100 australian artists competing with 1,000,000 intl artists to get played on radio, its the way to make money, youtube views just don't cut it these days in terms of wanting to earn from music.
