CREA: Go on a Flower Search - like Kate Furbish!

In this "Backyard Explore" activity, CREA educators show youngsters how to go outside on a flower search to collect different colors, sizes, and shapes of plants. We learn how Kate Furbish collected plants too -- over 150 years ago!
Kate Furbish is the namesake of Brunswick's newest elementary school, and was an amazingly curious and dedicated botanist and artist. Her original watercolor paintings can be seen in the special collections at Bowdoin College!
