Wow. I had the great pleasure of talking with Drew Blood on the phone around 1993 or 94. He had just finished his awesome memorabilia mag called "GERMS CLIPPINGS" 1 and 2. I'm a huge Germs fan and I knew he was friends withthem. I got a contact# and called him and he was so cool, despite his health issues. He wrote great poetry too: "Pneumocystis At Christmas" was/is my favorite, about his ordeal in hospital. I still have G Clippings and the poetry books and I'll never forget how nice he was to me a total stranger calling out of the blue. Drew does that last poem "Mohawk Redemption" at the end of the Germs tribute cd from awhile back. O.G.s like you and Drew make the punk rock world keep turning. D.B. REST IN PEACE.
