this is slightly different from ours we just add dhal into boiling water with garlic onoin hot pepper salt and tumeric and let it boil soft and then sizzling with the hand blend and then tadka with some geera and garlic thats how it done in trinidad & tobago .

We cook it lil different we keep removing d sump of daal while its boiling once all scump is removed we add rest of d ingredients

Your recipe is good but nowadays any daal doesn’t cook even half way without cooker😆

Cook in low flame for hours. Add a teaspoon of butter,it will soften moong dal.
