Skolas is honestly the most underrated villain in the series. He really just did whatever he wanted and didn't rely or focus on the Traveler like so many other villains do. Also it's crazy that he managed to get into the Vault of Glass with brute force and almost succeeding using Vex technology to expand the amount of Fallen in his army.

You joke when you say that but remember that pretty much was the only way you could beat him before they nerfed him. You either killed him, he killed you, or you were running around like headless chickens for an hour
One of the best villains imo. He didnt get where he was by praying to some worm god. He got to where he was by sheer strength and force of will and underhanded and dirty tactics but thats besides the point lmao

Keep in mind that Oryx also took extreme force of will to get where he was. he rebuilt his race from three people AFAIK, KILLED a worm god, can delete planets, is unkillable, and is bloody indimitading. We had no chance against Oryx tbh, and he is by far the strongest character in all of destiny lore. besides possibly some of the nine, but i'd love to debate

I soloed this guy when no one else on my first real fireteam could and guys were shocked and shook with me after that because I was going through severe Ritalin withdrawal that made me brain dead at the time and they had nowhere near the same capacity to push through that I did. That's one thing I've never understood about Mara Sov. I respect mercy, but only if you can afford it. The Vangurd and the Reef were far too vulnerable and the resources spread too thin to shelter an entire menagerie of the most dangerous people in the system. The leaders should have been killed quick and effectively, capturing them was a catastrophe waiting to happen.

For poison use a sword (not exotic, if you block you won't die but you will be really low) For dps use 4th horseman, it allows you to do a lot of damage quickly and then safely get out. For mines don't focus on anything else. Also use wrath arms.

Last time i checked he is still very much possible to kill before the hot potato game and mine bs starts. You just need a particular setup to pull it off. It’s been a hot minute so you’ll have to excuse me if i’m don’t remember everything. 1. Shadow shot hunter with as much duration as possible for the anchor 2. Bubble titan with weapons of light. (Helm of saint 14 is optional but will be appreciated by your team) 3. Hammer titan with sunspot duration buff plus your choice of whatever the hammers do after hitting skolas although i my self personally would choose hammers leaving sunspots after impact. (Although any good damage super with dps over time would probably work just as well here like black hole nova bomb) 4. Good damage heavy weapons of any kind except swords (unless your entire team intends on being right on top him the go for is) (also don’t be afraid to expirament with your heavy weapon slot sure some weapons might get meme’d on a lot but it doesn’t mean that they can’t be viable after all i did mange to solo crota with the super good advice exotic machine gun) (Optional) 5. Use the scorch cannon if you don’t feel confident in your own dps after all your going to wipe if you don’t get it right before the stupid hot potato game and mine bs starts Best of luck out there fellow guardians!
You mean the fight itself or just the boss himself? If it's just based on the boss, Crota wins for me. You literally had to do missions just to cripple him before fighting him, because otherwise, you would have no chance.

Soloing this was such a pain (in HoW). If you didn't kill him fast enough you'd die to poison, if you don't kill him faster you die to mines.
