I personally thought your review was very genuine & insightful. I'm going to assume you're not a professional hair stylist & I'm pretty sure anyone who decides to buy this tool isn't a professional either so I actually appreciate the way you went about reviewing the product because it was very relatable. Good job & hopefully with more use, you'll learn to get the results you're looking for.

Im a professional and to be honest I would say this brush will work better on curly or frizzy hair as a next day refresher, I like my blowouts to look smooth so I would recommend the air brush for styling first like the le volume, then use this brush the days after to refresh the style, this brush will be awesome for people with more of a soft, sleeker easy to straighten or style hair. My opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️

This tool worked miracles with my 12 year old granddaughter's hair. Her hair is thick and ringlet curly. I was so thankful!! I don't know why anyone would be dissatisfied with this hot straightening brush - for us it is a God-send.

I just wanted to say I have this brush and love it!! I was looking at different hair videos and saw that your hair was similar to mine and was curious how it worked for you. One thing is that it is not meant to make your hair super straight like a straightener, it is supposed to leave it with some volume and keep a nice shine to it which your hair looks really nice. For coarser hair (like ours) you will most likely need the higher heat setting because you are not having two sides of an iron pressing on your hair. To straighten my hair it normally takes me 30 min and I have it down to 12 min. It’s not perfect or super sleek but it looks nice and healthy with some volume so it works for me. If you like the sleek look chances are this is not the tool for you. I have their curling wand too but I normally go to this tool because it is so quick and my husband isn’t yelling at me that we are late!!

Thank you for an honest review, I truly hope u are a customer not a worker, but you don't sound like a worker... I'm just in tears because in the past few days I've ordered 200$ in product from them and never sampled anything or heard of them but I kept seeing comments of ladies that worked in salons and were raving about it. Ugh I'm just praying the products work. I did see on their site almost everything I ordered had a few pages of bad reviews but thousands of great... I hope I didn't lose my 200$ I'm usually better at researching stuff but I am doing a lot of hair stuff during this quarentine so I figured I might as well invest in salon quality products

Allie's Mom Hi, I definitely am not a worker. I like their products. I was worried about the same thing. If you got the heat shield and you have thick hair like me I recommend spraying it in after you put the other products while it’s wet before you blow dry or let air dry. I didn’t like using it right before I straightened my hair because I don’t think it had enough time to dry and set in. Let me know how you like it!

It takes me an hour in order to straighten it with a flat iron. But my favorite teacher suggested the brush to me so I'm doing as much research as possible on it before I spend my money on it. :) I also am wondering if I should just by the brush by itself and use my own heat protectant, or if I need to invest a little more into the products as well. The most I would get would be like a heat protectant or another anti-frizz because you can never have to many anti-frizz products. Well, I mean.. you probably can, but not the point. I'm just here looking for some tips and tricks. I realize you posted this a year ago though. :)

Honestly I have heard nothing but great things about them. If you read my above comment I explain a lot better, but in my opinion you have no business reviewing a product, especially such a negative review when you don’t even know you should NEVER apply that kind heat to hair without using products Especially heat protection. If she knew what she was doing at all. She would have used a protectant at least and probably saved herself some hair damage and a lot of time with better results. I definitely wouldn’t be nervous based off this review. No I am not a professional nor do I work for the company! 😊

Yes. I would say this is only good for touch ups without cranking the flat iron out every day. You see, I sweat at night so my roots curl up. I usually gave to blow my hair back out and flat iron it all over again. I think this would be good for a quick fix. Plus it needs to be hotter.

I am SO sick of this brand! Every single person who posts a video says the same thing guys it's a crazy sale you have to buy now before it sells out. Yeah ... and there WILL be another sale right around the corner and another. They shouldn't need crazy discounts to sell, the products should be reasonable from the start so they speak for themselves. I think she is doing a very good job reviewing this product. She's honest and up front with her experience. I have thick curly hair and would much rather use a straightener. So I understand her disappointments. You can get this same brush from Amazon. I bought this same brush from a different brand and it didn't work for me. And people highly rated it.
Be nice! 🤨♥️ You can GET Lange quality from other drugstore brands.

Thanks so much for your honest review! I bought the same exact thing as you did and got the same results as you. I thought it was just me. I had to turn the heat up so high that I felt like it was frying my hair. Maybe this product is made for people with really thick hair. I kept mine as well as it wasn’t cheap and I thought that I might use it again but in a year and a half - nope, haven’t used it at all. My ceramic flat iron works so much better for my hair - lower heat setting and I only have to go over it one time unlike the L’Ange Le Vite Hot Brush. I really wanted to love this product but just couldn’t. I didn’t get great results. My results were pretty mediocre at best.
Don’t know if you experienced this or not but my product didn’t come with instructions on what temperature to set the hot brush at for my hair type. I had the same packaging as you did. I had to email L’Ange Customer Service for help. They finally put that info on their website after that. Customer Service was very nice but heat variant instructions should have been put in with the packaging. Just my opinion.
    P. S. - I saw the L’Ange Le Vite Hot Brush on a Facebook ad as well. Like you, I started seeing the ad everywhere after that. Apparently, the advertising was successful as I purchased the product as well to give it a try.

The point of this brush is not for convenience or to be faster than a straightener. The point is its a healthier alternative to smashing your hair between two metal hot plates. Causing less damage in the long wrong as well as giving volume to your hair.

I've seen them at full price I LOVE Lange. What I've noticed is that SOMETHING is always on sale. Christmas time everything is on sale basically all the time lol. But I do love that something is always on sale and if it's on back order i can just wait a couple weeks to get it.
Also with the brush vs their flat iron or any iron the brush is indirect heat. And you arent crushing your hair follicle between 2 blades so it's not as bad on your hair as the type of heat we are used to.
I always describe the brush to people this way; The brush gives a more natural straight hair look where as The flat iron give that classic stick straight that we've come accustomed to

Just brush the next day and ready to go. 😃 The one I really do like is the Le Duo.

Thus isn’t a straightening iron. The le vite is more gentle on her hair and leaves it fluffy as yours turned out. So if you wake up with bed head, you can get smooth sleek hair that doesn’t look styled. Also. You didn’t hold the hair sections flat enough against the bristles. You were doing it diagonally like a regular hair brush. You have to move more slowly and you can curve the ends by bowing it down or up at the end of the strands.

    • @NickiLeeBakes
      @NickiLeeBakes  4 года назад

It definitely smooths it out to an extent. I can see it being great for certain people. My main concern is putting decently hot heat on my hair for not the best results I guess? lol if that makes sense. Nicki Lee Bakes yes I get it. You want sleeker. This fine- and straight-haired girl wants more volume! It works great for me to do that without getting totally flat like the flat iron does. This tool isn’t intended to do the same as a flat iron, but the benefit is that it is more gentle heat. Sorry it didn’t work for you . Your hair is beautiful with the waves just as they are!

See, I am not fond of the super straight flat ironed look because to me it looks really fake. So I love what it did with your hair, or maybe you just have really thick full bodied hair, but I love that it is straight but still with movement and body. Your after hair, is my hair dream. Straight but thick full hair with no weird unnatural ends. I think that is what they are marketing. Straight hair without the ultra weird flatness of flat ironing.

I had never watched any L'ange product videos (this is my second ever.) I had never even heard of it, and their advertising was "popping up" everywhere for me, also. My significant other has probably never searched a hair product at all, and he gets L'ange ads everywhere also. So, I can only imagine how much someone would be targeted if they did search it on their own. They must pay a lot for our data and their advertising, or Facebook owns them. The 21st century... yay!
But thank you for the video! Being good at girl stuff is not my forté. So, seeing a realistic video by someone who doesn't do make-up and hair all day is great for me. Much appreciated!

It seems like you’re purposely making the product look bad. Your worries seem kinda fake. Also, you are to put pressure when brushing and it’s obvious in the very beginning you barely put pressure so of course it won’t give you a great result.

My thoughts exactly. I literally just watched a video of a woman with hair curlier than hers and she was able to get the straight natural look this brush is supposed to give. She was able to get her baby hairs straight and she was able to get super close to her head. This video in my opinion wasn't an honest review. It would be honest in my eyes if she actually followed the instructions on how to straighten the hair and not try to do other things it's not intended for like curling or using on unbrushed hair. 🤦🏻‍♀️

    Live this video, Thank you!
I’m noticing her hair is very similar to mine and I’m wondering if our hair is too thing or fine for the heat to make any real contact (the way a straightener does). Might work better in thick or dense hair. Just a thought. And unfortunate for me.
I do love her end results and turning up the heat with bigger chunks of refiner hair is good to know.

I just got mine today. I don't know if I wanna keep it. Burned my head. The brissel's were hot & so was the back of the brush. Had a very weird smell that I can still smell an hour later after using it. I have long frizzy thick hair I started using it at 450 but the tool was so hot I turned it down to 430. I thankfully paid $30. & it did straighten my hair. I guess I'll wait & try it again. I'm disappointed so far I was hoping it would work better than flat iron. I have a wand from Lange I ordered I hope that works good.
