Another way of running away is immediately spam S + ENTER key since the S key will target the RUN option and enter will select it

christmas day luck? on xmas day i managed to get wabalisc, cephalops and mutagon reset encounter gleams in about 1 hour. wab took about 30 checks, cephalops took 1, and mutagon took maybe 25? good xmas day last year for me :D
