It's really awesome to see some one who actually plays there synth' in real time... I have nothing against MIDI and automation.. but playing the synth' in real time is the way we used to do it back in the 80s... "old school". Have a great upcoming week.
Thanks, really appreciate your comments. I really think it's a different style of playing and came out of necessity following all the multitrack and midi production of music from the 80s onwards.
Hey nice work... Unfortunately I don't have a phantom bored I have a Yamaha modx8 ... I'm just trying to figure out a way to get to that patch at 42 seconds into the video.. obviously it looks like an octave type of thing .. I'll try to figure it out any suggestions are helpful
I have shared a file of some useful sounds here: facebook.com/groups/rolandfaseries I am not sure the studio sets are there but the actual sounds created are, including the Alpha Juno Hoover sound used in this video.
To be honest none of its exactly the same, it's an approximation which sounds tight in the band. The original instrumental version is interesting, the rhythm for chorus would be tough to play, and I thought would probably distract the band, but works seemlessly on the record.
