Excellence in Science Education for Liberia (Camp xSEL) Maryland 2024 Graduation

Camp xSEL is a month-long vacation camp for 11th and 12th grade students interested in the health sciences. The camp aims to strengthen the pipeline for medical education by increasing science and math knowledge, building soft skills, and improving readiness for higher education in health sciences. In addition to classes taught by University of Liberia, students engage in critical thinking labs, career talks, health workshops, and extracurricular activities led by senior health science students, including debates, quizzes, sports, and talent shows.
