A number six can of those are about 6 or 7 dollars now. I am going to triple this because I make puff pastry turnovers. Or...I may just mix up the apple slices and the peaches half and half for a new taste combo. I love how you show the recipe card at the end and I will just be tripling your recipe. My clear jel arrived yesterday (cook type). Never heard of it before. Thanks again!

Johnson Family Vids & Vlogs it’s a powder like sure jell. When you use it you need to allow extra headspace. It will expand as it processes. I left at least a inch of headspace My first time using it.

You didn't explain not overfill the jar because clear gel expands when canned and can pop the lids off a jar in the canner and you could see that very well by your jars. Pauls rule of thumb explains that very well when he canned up pie filling.

All of my jars sealed perfectly. When I took the rings off...they are perfeclty sealed....no buckling at all. I bought more peaches and will make one ore cooking. It is delicious!!!!
