Love my x4. Not aware of any audio company including a Thunderbolt cable in the box with their interface. Only see USB interfaces including USB or USB-C cables but those are cheaper to source.
@@MrCebaskii Clarett 4Pre is USB-C and comes with a USB-C cable. Most USB interfaces come with a cable. Although USB-C cables connect to Thunderbolt ports they do not support Thunderbolt devices which is why USB-C cables are so cheap.
It’s connected to my MacBook Pro 15 inch via thunderbolt, but not directly to the laptop. It’s first connecting to a thunderbolt / USB hub (Caldigit Element Hub) and then into the MacBook
They are great but the DSP chips are a total rip. They need to be AT LEAST twice as powerful to get what you need for a full session for the price you pay.
@@Semyon_Music At the moment Im using the UAD 1176 collection, 33609, Helios Collection, Studer, Oxide and the LA2A collection all in conjunction with SSL Native Channel strips and BUS. It seems to be a good balance between UAD plugs and SSL Native because even with the Satellite I would not be able to get a full session out of my UAD hardware alone which is also very expensive in Australia.
Great video man! expecting your next videos. Maybe the Heritage edition plugins :)
Glad you liked it! Going through the Heritage Editions plugins is a great idea, I'll definitely add it to the potential videos list!
Hi, thanks for the video, this interface can be plugged in to 120v or 220 voltage?
Both!
@@Semyon_Music awesome thanks !
What a beauty! Great unboxing and review, now I also want this haha
Thank you! I'll be posting a more thorough review soon
@@Semyon_Music I'm excited🔥
Why doesn’t UA put MIDI inputs on their interfaces? I wish it did, but since it does not, I went with a Scarlett Focusrite
Would be nice!
really informative video!
Glad you liked it!
Hello! A question, it can be only used on mac? Or is possible to use it on pc?
Works on both Mac and PC!
@@Semyon_Music nice, thank you!

I’ve never seen Thunderbolt cables included with anything either, but I thought given the high price tag they’d include it
Focusrite Clarett 4pre comes with one

@@marklholloway oh wow! learn something new everyday! thanks!
👌🏾 I have the Rack Apollo X6 and it’s the Best.
That’s awesome! What are you favourite UAD plugins?
Bro this one is a later version????
It's the latest desktop version!
What's your computer configuration using this interface

2019 macbook pro what processer you using i7 i9
It’s a 2017 MacBook with an i7 processor
that missing cable is just a sad state of affairs. come on UAD ...
Would be nice if they included it!
How i wish UA was using USB C. Hopefully next generation will have it.... i will stick with a cheap audio interface until then.
Would be a lot easier! Even to get it through a USB hub, it requires an expensive CalDigit hub that can handle thunderbolt

Yea that’s true! What UAD plugins do you use?

Oh and UAD Distressor as well
That’s an awesome UAD plugins collection!
