She is such a powerhouse, and even if i dont like that song, i did love how she sang it, and.. how she pretty much made the song obsolete for future use in talent shows hehehe (who, in their right mind, would want to try and sing that song now, after this performance? :P) She's putting our little country on the map, and we are extremely proud of her :) I'm just overjoyed that she made it to the next round, and hopefully, she'll make it to the finals. But no matter what, she has won already, she has a foot on American soil now, and record labels, producers, writers and fellow musicians are lining up to work with her already, and it is well deserved too, she worked hard for over 20 years to get to this point in her life, the doors are opening for global fame.

Usually i love Singers as they are and do not like the comparison about Taste in Music !!!. But after such a Dramatic Debate, i took to Heart your Incitement and went to listen to Morissette Amon version of the song . Now, i am sure . There is no other version like the one of Glennis out there, with such an Impact to Pure Emotions.Only exception the Studio version and i think in a lower Key .To my Hearing at least, it sounds like trying to compare the "Abstinence" against Glennis Vocal Presence. Everything else sounds to me Shallow and Breathless .Sheer power and Ethereal Clearance in her notes, expand the imaginary music scene into a Sea of Thousand and One Dreams !!!.Reach to one and it will Fly you to the Rainbow of Your Sky !!!.

i really don't get it? she was flat numerous times and very shaky at others, for me this was a below par performance, if you want to see perfection of this song just watch morissette!
I can try to explain. Glennis has mastered the art of conveying feelings through singing. Singing a song perfect doesn't necessarily do that. I don't have the knowledge to judge if she sung this perfectly, but I can judge how I feel when hearing her sing. And that's what counts for me.
she is a really good singer no doubt about that but in this song she didn't do well, morissette's version at her mothers day concert in laguna is wayyyyy better, watch it and see, and she conveys emotions just as well, check it out :)
Ken Hansen I did see it, maybe it is the recording but all I heard was reverb. I couldn't even understand the words. So, I stick with the clear voice of Glennis.
