For anyone who is having trouble with the stream deck not working with this, remember to first the "Advance configuration" inside of the "RAW WS" configuration (inside the button where you place it in the deck) and set it up with the IP, Password and port from OBS
Having a laptop and a small old TV as a monitor, this is really going to be useful. And it's also making a big push for getting a stream deck. Thanks for this info!

For those trying to setup the websocket vendor command with the plugin documentation, the README for v1.3 is incorrect; the vendor is "jrDockie" and not "JrDockie" (case sensitive). Nutty's command at 6:47 is correct. This plugin is great, thanks for sharing.
Following this video, I set up a new scene collection and then switched off all the docks. Was great positioning them where I, not OBS, wanted them. Then, in the safe hands of jrdockie, so it's there whenever I want to use it. Thanks to jrdockie, and a big thanks to you for giving me the push to experiment

Holy cr*p that's incredible! I didn't know I needed this. Although if any fellow commentors or the man himself can help me work out how he made his preview dock small and in the corner with wo layers of docks under it that'd be awesome. For some reason on mine I can only put one layer of docks under it
@@thejesseayy so, I found a way but it pretty just is take everything out and loud it all to one side, then weirdly I could put two under it. It's not perfect but does the job
I just wanna iterate; for a bit, I had no idea why you wanted this, because I assumed that Profiles did this. But no; profiles *can* save your dock setup, but it also locks you out of changing profiles when recording/streaming. So I can't even utilize it that way, meaning Profiles have no purpose at all for me.
This would be elite if streambot would allow us to dock the Sb chat. In obs I LOVE the streamer bot chat but it becomes to much of a hassle to have it open all the time on its own window with the setup I have. Definitely gonna use this to edit browser dock scenes
this is something that should be added natively without a plugin 😂 plus this is really helpful even if you don't need multiple presets since obs has no effective way of saving the locations of floating docks ❤
I'm loving this plug-in for the most part so far, but I've come across two issues since installing it. I want to create a dock set with a custom browser dock of my StreamElements session data, but whenever I close OBS and then re-open later, the dock is gone from the dock set and I have to put it back in every time. Saving the dock set doesn't work. Locking docks doesn't work. Saving the dock set AND locking the docks doesn't work. I know I can just do this manually every time I open it, but the whole point of this plug-in was so that I wouldn't have to do this. And second, certain docks are leaking over into other dock seats where I don't want them. For example, the scenes and sources docks are getting automatically added to the main dock set even though I didn't add them there, and I would prefer not to have them over there. Is there a solution to either of these issues?

So scratch what I said earlier. thats done with streamer bot, stream deck pages. You have to log on, and create one. Then just use a customer browser dock. Nutty has a video on it
@@ttk_rufus_gaming absolutely! Earlier I thought you were talking about the Twitch Dashboard. But then I had to look for that specifically! If you havent found it it should be titled - "How To Use Streamer Bot's Stream Deck Pages!"

@@ttk_rufus_gaming for some reason I have issues with RUclips on mobile. But that's exactly it. You create the deck via the site, then you "open deck" which opens it up in a new tab. Then you use the url in OBS like so - Docks > Custom Browser Docks > Apply. You'll then have the deck page as a dock like shown in this video. I have it set up just like that my self now. I also used a Discord icon site for the icons

This new update doesn't capture any of my game's via Game Capture without flickering. About every 30 seconds my game flashes for a second no matter what settings I select. This is so incredibly frustrating. My streamerbot doesn't work anymore with my OBS connections. Why does every OBS update ruin everything that already works?

Love the video! Working making a few different layouts right now, but I noticed that at the top of your preview you have the start streaming, recording and studio mode which would be in controls. Is that another plugin or something they did in a update?
It's a plugin that's literally called "Toolbar" (yes, not a great name for SEO). Try Google "OBS Toolbar". Keep in mind, it seems to ignore the "Show Confirmation Dialog" setting in OBS. I should probably make a complaint about that lol.
I seem to have everything set up correctly. Stream Deck says I have a valid JSON. I configured it with the info found under the WebSocket Server settings in OBS but I get an error on the Stream Deck when I press the button. Thoughts on what I could be doing wrong?
how do you get your preview screen to look like that?? I'm trying to put sources undermine but it wont let me, no matter how i move it it wont let me put anything near or under the preview screen, it takes up a WHOLE section for no reason, and i want something that looks like how you have but cant get it done

That looks like it should work. If using Multi-Obs plugin, the Request Type should be "CallVendorRequest" I apologize for the lack of instructions for calling websocket function -- I use my own streamdeck plugin to send OBS websocket commands and this is my first time seeing Multi Obs, which uses somewhat different terminology than I do. One thing I noticed in my testing of Multi Obs is that I didn't see a clear error when the plugin itself wasn't connecting to OBS. But you can tell if it hasn't connected because the button looks like it's striped, instead of solid in color.

@@brunosnow Way better? Yes. Not the same thing? Hard disagree. You can set up profiles to look and operate differently from each other. JrDockie is exactly the same thing, but better because you can set up one-button automation to switch up the profiles.
The profile option also stores all of your streaming options, under File -> Settings so you would have to go into settings and update all the data for each profile that you have a different layout for. This plugin ONLY CHANGES the layout of your docks. But yeah if you want to stop your stream between layout changes, then go for it.

Try enabling Full Height docks in the Docks menu.
This will allow you to have docks that span the full height of the window.
