Hey Guys! I hope you enjoy the video and also note that there are some countries like the United States, Brazil etc do not have a flag carrier in spite of having huge airlines. So it may be possible that your country may not have a national airline in spite of having so many huge airlines. Also, this video only features the active airlines and doesn't include any defunct airlines so the flag carriers who have discontinued their operations are not included. Keep supporting!

10:35 Korean Air is a company which runs by a company called Hanjin, one of a private company in S.Korea.
By S.Korean Law, a private company can't use the Nation's name, (Republic of Korea) or a symbol of the country (ex:flag, name etc) but Korean Air use the symbol of Korea. However, because of the white space between the symbol, it's legal.
But therefore, that symbol isn't the symbol of Korea, Korean Air can't S.Korea flag carrier.
I guess Korean Air is the de facto carrier of South Korea.
@@JaylenChua-Expedition Well long ago, they were run by S.Korean Government, but the airline made extreamly high losses.
So they hand over the Airline to HANJIN, one of a major private company. Still lot of people were thinking Korean Air is running by a government because of a logo.
Will be weird if a flag carrier is using it's countries flag on it's tailfin.Just like Aeroflot in the USSR and Air Koryo in North Korea

Entertaining to watch. Just a small correction: LATAM (the LATAM Chile, flag carrier part) was founded in 1929 as Línea Aeropostal Santiago Arica. 2016 was the year when the new name was implemented.

Nice vid! There's one thing I want to clear up though. Norway's main airline is Norwegian(those planes with a red nose). SAS is also quite popular here in Norway, but I think other Scandinavian countries, Sweden and Denmark, use SAS more than we do.
