i cant explain what this video meant to me and i cant count how many times i’ve watched it and learnt the chord progression lol but this actually turned into a song on their album Mind the Moon as “scartlet paintings”

Honestly I think it's just how much their style has matured, and I personally love it wayyy more. Of course there's some motivation to make money, this is in fact their "full time job."
I agree with you. It is also important for them to grow. In my opinion their new style is quite too pop. But this is just a personal taste. I just hope that they don'y get too pushed by the record company too make something more commercial.
Their record company is Lichtdicht which they founded themselves, so I'm pretty sure they won't get pushed haha. And yes I understand, everyone has their own tastes I guess. I like it because it feels much more simple. However Sadnecessary does indeed feel a lot... warmer? Not even sure how to describe it. That being said, I don't think anything will top Sadnecessary

Anything will reach the level of Sadnecessary... it has so meny emotions inside, and every time you listent to it, it gives you something different.I wouldn't describe it as sad,, but I'd say that it is intense. (as the German Romanticism)

Yeah exactly, there's no way to describe it (at least in English). It is a mix of all emotions. Which is why I love it so much
