The fact that they disable achievements sucks. Was kinda excited about the gravestone thing... but might as well just turn on keep inventory.
They don't, I tried and make some achievements with my world with all the add ons free

Thanks for checking out my addons! You only scratched the surface of computers, some of the radars can be particularly useful, not to mention the stats tracking of world events and even the stats of some other addons. It's a very exciting launch and hoping to add a lot more functionality over time as scripting gets more powerful.
We use the gravestone, decocraft, naturalist, pets and portal add on for our realm and it works perfectly
Naturalist is the best
The naturalist add-on is the best one in my opinion it literally turns Minecraft into a totally different game.
Disabling achievements for an add on is a real buzz kill. Honestly makes them kinda worthless

If you use cheats anyway, achievements get turned off. I only change two of them, which is frustrating, but I've had to live with it.
This could lead to so many other Java mods to make it to Bedrock, if the creator want it to, the Naturalists mod is actually a Java mod and the creator of that mod ported it to the Marketplace. I wouldnt be surprised if Alex's Mobs ends up being in the Market soon
There should be a wandering circus group. One has a lion on a lead, maybe one has a monkey. And then you can buy things like fireworks from them.
And buy popcorn to eat

Me too! Though im 32, i swear i felt like a kid again exploring a new world with all the amazing animals in it with an awesome walking stick making me super speedy, lol
The only addon i would be interested in is a chunk finder.
Im sure these are just the beginning. I have a feeling creators are gonna hope on the add-on wagon real quick. I want seamless glass, chunk finder, and a debugged aoe lantern/torch.

what do you know about the portal one, what does it do?
@@Masked_One_1316can create 16 different color portals that can each be linked(named) to ten portals. Works across all three worlds (over/nether/end).
So use one color as base portals that lead to a portal room which has the other portals there. Then use a color for all your mob farms,etc.
I mean the only price the free ones have is time and storage
So prowl how is the animal add on going to affect your mob caps
This looks pretty good, I am glad that they added a more user freindly way to get mods. I have some reservations about the monitary side of things, but we shall see where this goes.

Hey is there anyway to pre generate chunks/world in bedrock (specially single player mobile)
The most common reasons I die is that I fall asleep at the controller and then my stuff despawns…. I need an add on that doesn’t affect achievement. But one that protects me as I’m sleeping behind the controller. 😅😅

Any and all behaviour packs disable achievements.
I like them. Better than the world maps.

The hikers walking stick is amazing just 3 sticks and you get a weapon with speed boost and jump boost!!

If I recall, that adventurer addon with the sleeping bags had a lantern you carry that has dynamic lighting. Not sure if it was offhand though
It does both off hand and not. but at least on my xbox it was super buggy the rest of the hiker gear works, amd is great but the lantern light destroys path block somehow reverting it to dirt and it flickers horribly
@@kristen_franklin Thats really weird. Sounds like to move the "dynamic lighting" it places the lantern. Thats not good. Would it also break grass if you run over it, like when you place a block on it? Doesnt sound like a good solution to dynamic lighting...

Lol, i squealed like a little girl who just walked into a candy shop when i logged into my xbox and saw these! So exciting! It's still a bit buggy, but im sure it'll get better as time goes on. The only thing that seems to really be bugged is the lantern in the hikers add-on. The rest are slight. Though i hope they bring back the add-on exclusive tab in marketplace. The naturalist is essential along with the furniture and hiker add-on

They don't disable achievements, I don't know why but I could make some achievements after I put all the free add ons in my world

Some of these add-ons should just be a part of the base game and toggleable from the settings menu and not affect achievements.

I logged in and was excited to have add ons without the use of mods, But the fact that they disable achievements is extremely lame. Thats disappointing.

They do! In the settings of the realm, go to Behavior Packs and activate! 👍

Will definitely not pay for content, in South Africa we pay literally x19 more to the dollar so 5 packs could cost between 500 and 1000 bucks... In Rands, not worth it
if you have PS+ or Game pass you can get minecoins for free save up enough and you can get the pack for free, its what I do. Haven't spent a penny in years

Got to admit, i was super excited about the sleeping bag...until i woke up and it was still night and a hoard of baddies were surrounding me.
Also, I've always wanted to make a zoo. I splurged and bought the animals pack. While it has a great variety of animals, their behaviors are so unrealistic it's beyond belief. None of them attacked me. Most of them didn't even run away and there was no way to interact with them other than attacking. I hope there is an update to this one soon. soon.
The sleeping bag does 6 hours at a time. You need to sleep twice to go to daytime.
Fairly certain it goes by the time commands, it also can be used to make it night.
This is to make it different from the bed.
Okay but seriously .... These could be a LOT of fun and so long as they are free it's a nice addition. I could see these being useful when someone has become bored with a particular world. Personally, I like the achievements/vanilla "pure" game but to each is their own!
What do you mean as long as they are free? Do you not like rewarding people for thier hardwork or is it something else?

That’s why I paid for the game and the monthly subscription(s) and the server and the on and on… There’s a lot of potential and I’m sure there’s plenty of individuals that are willing to pay for a little “tweak” to their experience - just (personally) feeling that Mojang could improve the overall experience of the game by using a small portion of the hundreds of millions profited annually and have a select few add-ons offered for free/discounted, far better for the coders pockets than I could ever offer 😏 Never say never - perhaps one day there’s a something that’ll pique my interest for a fee - it could happen, eventually…
@@kristen_franklin On the contrary I very much do!! That's why I purchased the game, and realm, and monthly service, and on and on... All I'm saying is that mojang makes big money and they can front the developers some bread to ensure these cool new features are affordable if not free for it's base players. There will always be a plethora of individuals that will be willing to fork out a few extra bucks for some add-on -- just not my cup of tea is all... Happy gaming!!!

yeah they need to change that or make it so if Java players can't get them if they have mods.
@@Masked_One_1316they can't control that on java. Thing about PC is software can always be cracked open and modified or worked around even with efforts towards restriction.
