Refrain from the attitude of idolizing the preacher/servant/creature. Give all the credit and thanksgiving to God. All creatures are nothing but instruments through which we hear God speaking to us. We must never exult the creature. He or she or it is God's display of His infinite glory. If we are truly touched by anyone's message or teaching, tell God " thank you Lord for telling me, teaching me, guiding me " and leave all the credit to God. Never idolize the creature delivering. God's words, whether through the bible or any other means, are forever " fresh and alive ". " All things will pass away, but My words will never pass away " Jesus said. Give God all the credit. Thank Him for the creature delivering. Give Him the praise and glory!!!

The book he references on the incredible persecution Christians faced in China is this: “The Church in China: How it Survives and Prospers in Communism,” written by Carl Lawrence. The portion he references is on p.121: “We would pray, sing to ourselves, and write sermons in our minds to keep our minds clear. Those who did not know scripture had a very bad time. Those who could not repeat scripture back to the Lord often either betrayed the Master and us, went insane, and/or committed suicide. It was the Word of God that kept us from doing any of the three. We not only survived, but look at us! We grew!” Psalm 91 is a great passage to memorize in the King James, and May I also recommend Romans 8, as Corrie Ten Boom said she had memorized before persecution. May God bless and protect you.

Among other valuable things he said, this is my favorite, "You are only valuable by what someone is willing to pay for you. God valued us, each and every person, the whole world!, with the precious, redeeming blood of His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ!" Makes me want to look at everyone differently, each sinner I meet, as soooo infinitely precious in His Sight. Please pray for me and my family.

I am so bless to come across Dereck Prince teachings of the Bible....He have been helping me reach a higher level Spirtually. He have left this world and gone on to be with the Lord but his teachings are touching so many people hearts....thank you for his ministry..

Lately I re-discovered Pastor Derek. I have been listening to some favourite preachers for the past 18 years online and prior to that via books. But I blv it’s the HS who led me to Pastr. Derek. I m totally convinced of this. Praise Praise God!

How do we overcome Satan,? By the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. We overcome Satan when we testify personally, to what the word of God says to what the Blood of Jesus does for us.

Wow. The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. I’ve dealt with major depression most of my life. Then when I 100% seeked God it got better and I got off my meds but still had bouts of it. Then God told me a awhile ago to put on the garment of praise. I had such heaviness that the whole day I just praised him and then the heaviness left. Then it came back another day and I bound and rebuked Satan and continued with the praise and I’ve been free from it. I feel that is the answer. I listen soaking praise music too. I didn’t know Dr Prince had these issues. What a blessing someone is putting his messages online. I listen to him a lot and have grown in the lord so much from his teachings.
I'm 72 years old and this sermon has been great for me. When I was young, I thought old people didn't have to battle Satan anymore. How wrong I was!!!Maintaining a close relationship with God is still proactive in old ago. I've memorized over 250 scriptures and, as Derek said, this is a great way to defeat Satan. Mr. Mother often called Satan, Slewfoot. She doesn't have to battle with Satan anymore. She's been with Jesus for many years now.

Isnt that something. He's the only person I know who is so highly qualified but doesn't claim any title to his name. So humble!! He simply like to be known as Derek Prince. How I love him very much. And we all like to honor him addressing as Pastor or Preacher, Teacher, Evangelist. He sure has done and fits all of the above. Thats the wonderful thing about Mr Prince. Talking about knowing your own value. The world tears you down, stripes you of your self worth so you think your lucky to be acknowledged. God through His word and actions shows you your worth by dieing for you. Know who you are in God. Who cares what the world/enemy thinks or says. Don't be mistaken, God loves you.

Wow. The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. I’ve dealt with major depression most of my life. Then when I 100% seeked God it got better and I got off my meds but still had bouts of it. Then God told me a awhile ago to put on the garment of praise. I had such heaviness that the whole day I just praised him and then the heaviness left. Then it came back another day and I bound and rebuked Satan and continued with the praise and I’ve been free from it. I feel that is the answer. I listen soaking praise music too. I didn’t know Dr Prince had these issues. What a blessing someone is putting his messages online. I listen to him a lot and have grown in the lord so much from his teachings.

I'm 72 years old and this sermon has been great for me. When I was young, I thought old people didn't have to battle Satan anymore. How wrong I was!!!Maintaining a close relationship with God is still proactive in old ago. I've memorized over 250 scriptures and, as Derek said, this is a great way to defeat Satan. Mr. Mother often called Satan, Slewfoot. She doesn't have to battle with Satan anymore. She's been with Jesus for many years now.
