I would be so super interested in watching a video of how you decorate for the holidays and still keep it spooky but still festive.
I'm still not 100% sure how to mix the 2 😱 I'm wanting to do a Krampus theme but a lot of my holiday decor is from years ago and I'm over it but also Halloween left me hiding my wallet from myself 😂😂😂😂 Looks like I'll be busting out my black spray paint and repurposing 🔮🔮🔮🔮
@@JadeTheLibra I will keep an eye out for a black and white nisse this year here in Norway to send to you. Nisse are the little guys that people keep calling gnomes that are in the stores there over Christmas (🙄 yay for people not understanding the culture that their decorations are coming from lol). They're an important part of Scandinavian Jul tradition and they're very naughty lol. Its where the "leave milk and cookies" thing comes from. If you feed them at solstice, they bring you good luck, if you dont, they do things like turn your cows milk to blood. 🤣 Scandinavian folklore is pretty creepy just in general. So I think a black and white nisse would make a good addition to your spooky Christmas decor

@@JadeTheLibra (i hope you see this) I'd actually love it if you'd update us on how you were decorating for the rest of the holidays! ( or anytime you feel like rearranging your house tbh), it's a strange request but ever since I watched your shop with me/decorating series this year it's made me a better shopper. Even if the stuff is from years ago it's the idea behind it that's inspiring. I never realized how many surfaces I had in my house until I started organizing my deco by theme. I found on clearance a small empty book type storage thing that sits on a desk/coffee table and the design is of the Ouija board and it got me pumped for next year to pick an end table and perhaps do a dedicated reading table myself. Before I'd just go in and pick up anything that caught my eye and hoped I found a place to put it out for that year - but now I have all year to take note of what rooms I'm interested in decorating and select a theme for each one. Even your outdoor decor got me thinking - I may not be able to find a exact same lanterns and such but I can find something similar which is why I don't mind when people use items from years ago.

Im a tattoo artist and now, during covid 19 self isolation I am not allowed to work and my shop is closed by the government. Im blessed to work on a drawing project for a mountain resort and your videos are keeping me company and really helping me with the every day chatter that makes me feel like things are normal😁💖🏡
Hopefully you see this, but pro-tip from a former hardware store employee - they have to get Halloween out of the seasonal area ASAP because Christmas takes over and it’s insane. They usually start marking down the week before Halloween. Sometimes if you ask a store manager nicely, they’ll mark something down even further for you because they literally just want it out of the way.

Hey ghoul, hey! I love your shout outs to small companies and gifted items. That bleached witch T-shirt....... I need this in my life. Also, have you ever tried the Target candles? The brand on them is Chesapeake Bay. They're my favorite and they're like $10 for the big ones. They have like 3-4 different pumpkin scents and I always stock up. Bourbon Pumpkin is probably my favorite.

Hey ghoul, hey...I was out even earlier than you, made it to three Home Depots before 8 a.m. and they were literally wiped out of everything. I had a lot more success at Big Lots where they had a similar floral arrangement like the one you got at Home Depot they were $10 each and I also a similar wreath for my door for $12. I purchased an animatronic witch that has an interactive Raven that she talks to which I really like. I went to Spirit and got that Red skull tablecloth that I love so much (and wouldn't have known about if it wasn't for your video) they also had some Raven looking lace pieces that I got as well. I saw that Aurelio Voltaire gave you a shout out about these in one of his Halloween decor haul videos. I also got a billy butcherson Tombstone for my yard. But I think my favorite find were the big Lots skeleton unicorns which I'm going to turn into skeleton reindeer for a Nightmare Before Christmas Jack Skellington display I'm going to decorate in my yard for the next holiday. I also got a white plastic skull from Target that is exactly like the one you have. I plan on passing candy out with that next Halloween. Love all your spooky videos but now I'm sad that Halloween shopping season is over. : (

I would totally love to see how you would decorate for other holidays as well!!! I hear ya on the spending too much on Halloween this year……but if you could, show us some of what you would get :) I was in Home Sense ( in Canada) and saw some really cool solid black and white nutcrackers that made me think: you would totally dig them! I always put a Halloweenie twist on every holiday, because whats more Halloweenie than creepy nutcrackers and Hanzel & Gretl gingerbread houses….with a witch inside ;)

I found this year everyone ran out and got Halloween regular price because it was slim pickings..I was even in fl for Halloween horror nights and still no clearance anywhere! I was lucky that Micheals did 70% off here in NJ weeks before Halloween so I stocked up then and Hot Topic also did they clearance early but odd this year but I do think stores didn’t order as much Halloween stuff as past years..ps wow I looked for the devil mug EVERYWHERE so hopefully they bring it back next year

My target was already 70% off the morning after Halloween ! I picked up a few of the dollar spot candy holders really cheap and candy... but honestly my target closest to me let me down this year, we barely had a selection. I guess I should have drove 15 minutes down the road to see but lol I forgot

Hey goul hey, to be real target was picked over and empty back like on 10/20. They did not order enough stock I think.
Same with the targets by me, the shelves were 80% bare even before Halloween and they never even restocked anything! I was bummed by their selection this year too, hopefully next years is better

I went to target, Walmart and Christmas tree shop and they got picked over so quickly on November 1st but I didn’t even see much items before Halloween.
I went to Target which was very wiped out. I got a black lace mask, a skull bottle stopper, a day of the dead plush cat, and some candy. My Target was also out of storage tubs I went to Menards who had them and got a Jack Skellington greeter. Then I needed dog food and went to Petco where I found a cute bat plushie chew toy with a squeaker for the dog.

I went to sport, target, home goods and michaels and there was like NOTHING left. It was crazy. I bought two things from spirit- a jack skellington mug and a welcome witches banner. and it was PACKED. Packed!

Hey ghoul, hey! I was able to get a Halloween house from Michaels and a few other things, I made it to the 80% off and I was shocked that I was able to grab what I did. As I made my way to the cashier the crowd was all around that area so I was glad to get what I did. I was tired that day and also not sure if I was fighting a bug similar to what you mentioned, so I only made it to one of the Target's and called it a day, since I had to do food shopping. They also had the trees but I didn't take any, I did get a candle stick that was metal, it was the skeleton hand in the devil horns (rocker style) \m/. Halloween is hands down my favorite (fellow Libra) but ya know you have to celebrate the seasons, it's the winter solstice , it's not all about green and red unless that's what someone chooses. I love the cozy vibe of the winter by house is all gray, blacks and wood so there you go!
Ahhh you're so lucky you got the Halloween house 80% off!! @@JadeTheLibra Yes, if you keep to the tones of our house colors kind of like Norse with the dark colors and careful with the textures like using faux fur, etc.., you can keep with the witchy vibe. I have a lot of skulls we find on trails and also antler sheds so they add to it, candles as you know make it work. You will see it come together and find it something you transition over nicely. All the Halloween is packed up, I needed an extra container this year! I leave out some things that work for Thanksgiving and work the year through. Seriously I know you said you are tight for cash but go look at The Dollar Tree, they are doing nice for our home colors, so it looks like outdoor witchy, you can manage a witchy kitchen vibe, you'll see once you get there and budget friendly, Halloween killed me this year too!

I had the same issue with the storage bins this year. I just got engaged so I’ve been doing some clearance shopping since we’re getting married next fall near Halloween and was hoping for some fall/Halloween storage tubs to store all that stuff and make it easier to find for the wedding but all they had were Christmas colors !!
Check dollar general if you have any in your area! I got black totes with orange lids!

Lol I went clearance Halloween shopping the other day and got soooo much stuff, the lady at the checkout line said the same thing to me “looks like you’re stocking up for next Halloween” and I’m standing there in my pumpkin print leggings like uhhhh no this is all staying out year round 😂
My dog is an italian greyhuahua, she used to be super freaked out by the sound my blue ray player makes. She also hates cameras and certain things that light up and make noise. She is like 15 and ancient, but you'd never know it.

@@JadeTheLibra Ah, the Enchantra ones, right? Fluff, they're sold out! And yeah, Michael's did a pretty good job this year on the stuffs. We also love the pumpkin head reapers they have and were lucky enough to score another one this year (they didn't have them last year or the year before). I just wish they were a little more consistent with what they have stock wise from store to store.
The skeleton in the back seat... there's some kind of an "waiting for an Uber" joke in there somewhere...
Halloween clearance shopping by me was atrocious this year. My Target had nothing good left at all; Michael's Halloween was totally gone before Halloween; Home Depot also had nearly all of their Halloween out of the store before Halloween as well. My husband has this theory that next year the stores will have more Halloween decor out for longer, and they'll have more of it, since Halloween falls on a Saturday. But I'm not sure, idk if the Christmas creep is starting to ruin November 1st shopping in general...but I really hope he's right!

Girl at my super target we never even saw one piece of ghoulish garden on the shelves. A kid I spoke to that works there said most items weren’t on shelves cause everyone buys online and picks up. So the clearance was just all candy. I felt like usually Target is a win but this year they kinda sucked.

I went to target 1st the day after Halloween and ours was pretty empty too. Except the dollar spot which looked like they had completely restocked it right before Halloween!!! 👻 I snagged 2 🎃 platters for 50% off so I was pretty stoked about it! Micheals had a ton of stuff before Halloween (and stuff that had not been put out yet) all of that had disappeared and they only had a few things left for sale. I guess I didn’t get to it all early enough!! 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭😭
