Hey guys, it took me quite some searching, but the male singer's name is Jeff Hooper. He sang some other songs such as Time And Time Again, which would have been great in this game!
Hey mts could you please send me the page where you found this out? I'd like to check it out myself and see if i can also find the female singer, it says Kathy Mathia but some people her say otherwise so i'm confused haha
I once went out for a walk at about 4-5 in the morning in the winter, when the skies are clear and the breeze is strong but calming. I put a fallout playlist on and this song came on, i look up and see the stars in the clear dark blue sky. Magical. One of my faves for that reason alone, and it's a lovely song too.
It’s super relaxing to walk around at night in Fallout New Vegas through the desert outside of New Vegas listening to this song while looking up at the stars
Joshua Lukins-Claydon Boone is a good friend. Wish I could bring him along to see all the places outside of the Mojave Wasteland (Sierra Madre, Zion National Park, the Big MT, and the Divide). I'm sure he would enjoy seeing those places.
nowUknow The 2 things that made me feel like shit in NV: 1. Kill Mr. House, after he (his actual physical self) talks to you and after reading his obituary 2. Replace Boone with Arcade
Speaking of obituaries, let's all take a moment to remember this awesome song, and the singers and swingers album that featured it, following its removal from spotify. R.I.P.
Eh, it's not impossible that they survived. You know that guy at that start, trying to sell you a vault? He's still alive...as a ghoul, sure, but still alive. Wouldn't it be happier if that dancing couple were able to live a peaceful ghoulish life together after the fallout?
I turned on radio new vegas as I finished wiping out all of the Legionaries at the Fort after killing Caesar and this song played. Immediately unforgettable gaming moment.
This has to be one of the best songs in the Fallout series. It gives me that dreaded melancholic feeling of waking up in a dystopian world where all my loved ones are gone and I'm the only one left.
So, I have been playing new vegas basically my entire life. I was only like 7 when it came out, and I have been playing it since then, I have always loved the game, and well, I never really *listened* to the songs, and then this week, I started streaming the game, and then this song came on, and it was my first time really listening to it, and I actually cried on stream just because I can relate to this song way too much about me and my current girlfriend.
I always find this song a little mysterious. Because in many playthrough I had, it rarely play this song. When it did, well, let's say this my favorite song.
This song brings a hope and realization that love can exist in a world deprived of almost all modern day conveniences and luxuries, but that no power can overcome that of love.
Like a shooting star You appeared before me Where have you been all my life? All at once I've found Someone to adore me Where have you been all my life? Until the moment we met I had no one to cling to To be just everything to, to be my own true love If this is a dream Let me keep on dreaming Where have you been all my life? (Instrumental break) Until the moment we met I had no one to cling to To be just everything to, to be my own true love If this is a dream Let me keep on dreaming Where have you been all my life?
Born and raised in Vegas, sometimes I have the entire Radio New Vegas playlist with Mr. New Vegas playing while I drive haha. First time I heard this song in game I was in Novac for the first time, it was night time and I was going up to talk to Boone. (I was 10 back in 2011), and I fucked up and he shot the wrong culprit and he never spoke to me again haha.
Me and my gf are going to walk around a docks area kinda near where I live (yes i guess it is trustpassing) but a little far. We are going to climb on top of the Big Containers and sit down and chill and listen to music at night. So I think I will for sure play this song! (Edit) it happened about 46 Minuets ago! It was an awesome time because we came back from a party and I FUCKING LOVED IT!
Enclave Soldier Benjamin....what is your location, we can send help. we don't have many Vertibirds here, the only few we have need parts, but we can send a team for rescue
Beautiful song, great big band arrangement, sweet trumpet solo.... pity that songs like this are not as popular now. Makes me want to hug Veronica like there were no tomorrow :D
This feels like a great song for a David Lynch movie. I could imagine a Frank Booth type character having a mental breakdown to this song, while pushing along an unfortunate hostage or damsel.
Along with Nat King Cole Love me as though there were no tomorrow the two best songs in the game. I can listen to them all day long on repeat. Lovely songs.
While I think Fallout 3 has the best music as a whole, this is the best song on the Fallout series, imo. It's great to walk around the wasteland to at night :)
Screw all that pop music feeding younger generations garbage. This is real music if I ever have a child of my own this is the type of music I will introduce him/her to.
This is the first song that played when i went to the strip for the first time felt great and will probably one of the gaming moments I wouldn't forget.

Hi, everyone I'm Jeff Hooper the singer of this lovely song written by John Cacavas and Hal David. So glad so many of you enjoy it.
Happy New Year, Mr. Hooper. Much thanks for this amazing song.
Jeff Hooper thank you for such a master piece
I was suspecting that you were behind this, because I immediately thought "Time and time again " ...
This is a great song Mr Hooper, absolutely wonderful!
Really appreciate it Mr Hooper, this is a fantástic song, and incredible performance, just... Amazing

SAMissileChaser GG random places in the Mojave...but hopefully at this point with the Courier, helping the world one speech, beer, or bullet at a time
Omg I want to do that while listening to this song now.

I first heard this song I stumbled across Quarry Junction. I literally shat myself.
+MegaSnippezz Where have you been all my life?
lol, the deathclaws were like "Where have you been all my life", and then ate you
Cole Duncan true!
"Until the moment we met, I had no one to cling too!"
I still avoid quarry junction ❤😂😂😂😂😂

Hope youre still doing this, like a 4th dimensional experience
Every time I went to Benny's room this song played when I was stealing his things

This song played as I was walking up to New Vegas at night. I got so caught up in the moment that i got lost and couldn't find my way in! xD
I can totally relate to that!
bri bowling Yeah it's easy to get lost around there when it's your first time, and you can't just fast travel to one of the New Vegas gates! :P
Xserious Prime this game is soooooo good

Reminds me a couple dancing on the ballroom floor just before the bombs fell.
Roger Jones That's actually pretty sad, because they died.

I turned on radio new vegas as I finished wiping out all of the Legionaries at the Fort after killing Caesar and this song played. Immediately unforgettable gaming moment.
My dog just died today and I played this song for her as she took her last breath and this will forever be her song
im sorry man. stay strong
+CapaTG thank you I appreciate that
I know this is late but I'm sorry to hear that I know how you felt a dog is truly a mans best friend
RomanNot ASovietSpy if you like songs like this with a bit of an emotional punch I reccomend " My Way by Frank Sinatra" a good song
Beautiful song choice. RIP I hate losing the ones I love :(
One sentence sounds as if it were saying "To be just everything to, to be my Ultra-Luxe''
This has to be one of the best songs in the Fallout series. It gives me that dreaded melancholic feeling of waking up in a dystopian world where all my loved ones are gone and I'm the only one left.
Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish this song played more often
This song sticks in my head all time i hear it.
I listens to this song every time when I can't sleep.

wtf
Traveling the Mojave at night with a companion makes it so much better.
It's a weirdly pleasant mix of 1930' s and late 40's/50's smooth
Where has this song been all my life
This game is capable of making you like oldies, country and jazz
2:08 he has a beautiful voice
that part is indeed great
"Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter"
This is true art. This is true talent. This is the way music should be.
Hopfully fallout 4 will be just as enducive as the first 4 games.
Sometimes i even like the fallout song then the music they play now
Check out my playlists if you like old music:) cap
+Captain Aaron Cooper I will now make the lyrics to a pop song:

Kleneu66 Hell yes!!! Best weapon ever!! I took it to beat Lanius in to shit, it was an embarrassment to the legion haha. a great Warhammer
I don’t even know how I found it but it was my main melee weapon the whole game top tier weapon
Ahh...I always sing along to this song whenever it came up on New Vegas Radio
this played when i first got the room in novac and my storage problems were solved

most modern song to be featured in Fallout (1989)
You may want to look into that act again... I believe "In The Shadow of the Valley" was released in to mid 90's.
+Samk1106 I also think "Lonestar" By Tony Marcus is from the 90's
+The Global Excursion This song came out in 2003...
+Pasta Fiend Tony Marcus sounds awfully close to Richie Marcus. And everybody knows that Richie Marcus loves balls.
+The Global Excursion Is it that hard to look up the facts before you post a wrong comment? Dumbass.
The ironic thing is the first Time I heard this, it was when I first found out Veronica was voiced by Felicia Dau
In my drunk daze, slow dancing in my house at 12 am with everyone asleep so I realize.. I need to replay New Vegas again. Thank you
Underrated masterpiece.
This is what played in my head when I played Fallout 1 and found out how to do use targeted shots/alt fire.
i picture the icbms whizzing to vegas and it cuts to a couple danceing on the ballroom floor and it cuts back every now and than to the icbm flying

Love to the Fallout 3 and the Fallout New Vegas Soundtrack.
I love singing this song. Half of this soundtrack makes me depressed and happy at the same time... almost kinda like a longing for something...
