If you like be someone, it should be the character and personality and compatibility you love, not whether they’ve a 6-pack or will pretend to be interested in buying a properly they couldn’t even afford the shed of in real life. As such, she limits her choices and chances very substantially, whilst Simultaneously dramatically increasing the chances that the guys she Does chase after are love rats, frankly. It’s a shame; she’s clearly a great mum, and seems like a nice enough person behind all the neediness and emotional instability - but she hasn’t, or won’t, learn her lesson about limiting her options...
